Indoor Mobile Toilet Home Installation
The home installation of indoor mobile toilets should be carried out in stages, with the specific steps as follows:

I. Planning and Preparation Before Installation
Determine the Type and Specifications
Select the appropriate type based on usage needs:- Dry Composting Toilet: Suitable for low-frequency usage scenarios. It requires regular addition of covering materials (such as wood shavings or coconut coir) to decompose excreta and reduce odors.
- Bagging Toilet: Collects excreta in biodegradable plastic bags, which are easy to replace. It is suitable for limited spaces or temporary use.
- Microbial Treatment Toilet: Uses microorganisms to decompose excreta and requires a power connection to maintain the operation of the treatment system. It is suitable for high-frequency usage and families with sufficient budgets.
Consider factors such as usage frequency, maintenance convenience, budget, and space size comprehensively to choose the most suitable model.
Location Selection and Ventilation Requirements
Prioritize locations near windows or where exhaust fans can be installed to ensure good ventilation, reducing odors and humidity. At the same time, ensure privacy and avoid facing living areas directly. The ground should be sturdy and level to prevent the toilet from tilting or damaging the structure.Space and Dimension Measurement
Accurately measure the clear space (length, width, and height) at the installation location and reserve operating space according to the product dimensions. For example, a minimum width of 60 cm should be left for users to enter and exit, and a turning space of no less than 90 cm should be provided to avoid inconvenience during use.Preparation of Supporting Facilities
- Prepare covering materials in advance for dry composting toilets.
- For microbial treatment toilets, connect the exhaust duct to the outdoors and ensure there is a power outlet nearby (for exhaust or heating elements).
- General tools include screwdrivers, wrenches, spirit levels, etc.
- Cleaning tools (such as disinfectants and brushes) should be prepared in advance for subsequent maintenance.
II. Installation Implementation Steps
Unpacking Inspection and Verification
After unpacking, check each component against the instruction manual list to ensure there is no transportation damage (such as cracks or deformations) or missing parts. If any problems are found, contact the supplier immediately for replacement or reshipment.Assembly of the Main Frame
For split-type toilets, assemble the base, bucket body (treatment chamber), and toilet seat first:- Follow the instructions in the manual to connect each part using the provided screws and tools, ensuring that the connectors are tight and free of looseness.
- Check that all screws are fully tightened to avoid abnormal noises or structural instability during use.
Placement and Leveling
Move the assembled toilet to the selected location and use a spirit level to adjust the height of the four corners of the base to ensure overall levelness. If the ground is uneven, make fine adjustments by adding anti-slip pads or adjusting the feet to prevent shaking or water leakage during use.
For mobile toilets (simple type), the installation is even simpler:
- Install silicone anti-slip pads in the four corners of the bottom to enhance stability.
- Align the upper and lower bucket bodies and press the buckles downward until they are fastened to complete the assembly.
After installation is complete, test the exhaust system (if applicable) by connecting it to power and check the sealing to ensure there is no water leakage or odor leakage.
