Imitation Container-Style House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The imitation container-style house is a modular building transformed from a container as its structural foundation. It features disassemblability and relocatability, low-carbon environmental protection, and strong scene adaptability, and is widely used in fields such as temporary accommodation, cultural tourism homestays, and emergency support.

I. Structural and Material Characteristics

The imitation container-style house takes standard containers (such as 20-foot and 40-foot ones) as its main structural body and optimizes its living functions through secondary design. For example, to address the issue of insufficient floor stiffness caused by the large spacing between the longitudinal beams of the bottom frame of traditional containers, C-shaped steel purlins are added to disperse the load, enabling the stacked three-layer container body to maintain structural stability. After shot blasting for rust removal, the steel surface is coated with a zinc-rich primer and a polyurethane topcoat, which can maintain an effective service life of more than 15 years in the northwest's sandy and windy environment with large temperature differences.

II. Low-Carbon Recycling Advantages

This type of house supports multiple disassemblies and reuses. On average, leading compliant products can be disassembled and reused more than 8 times. Compared with traditional fixed temporary buildings, the amount of construction waste discharged is reduced by about 90%, and the resource utilization rate is significantly improved. For example, each standard 20-foot container consumes about 1.2 tons of steel, while the carbon emissions of a one-time cast-in-place concrete temporary house of the same area are 2.3 times that of a container house.

III. Scene Adaptability

  1. Emergency Support Scenarios: Foldable containers optimize their folded volume (for example, the folded volume of a Suzhou Zhongnan product is only 1/5 of its unfolded state). A single truck can carry 20 sets, and the transportation cost per set is as low as 150 yuan, making them suitable for large-scale and rapid deployment.
  2. Cultural Tourism Homestay Scenarios: Through modular splicing, personalized customization of the exterior facade (such as imitation wood-grain finish container houses), and internal functional transformation, high-end homestays or commercial supporting facilities can be created.
  3. Engineering Construction Scenarios: The use of a hydraulic automatic unfolding structure (for example, a single person can unfold a Suzhou Zhongnan foldable container in 5 minutes) significantly improves the project start-up speed.

IV. Technological Development Trends

The industry is moving towards a stage of refinement, low-carbonization, and compliance. The core trends include full-life-cycle low-carbon recycling, the expansion of cross-scenario versatility (such as adapting to multiple scenarios including engineering camps, mobile commerce, and emergency support), and the improvement of structural stability (such as a reduction in the wear rate after multiple relocations).
