Some use biodegradation technology, accelerating fecal decomposition by adding microbial agents; some use physical separation technology to collect urine and feces separately for subsequent resource utilization (such as making fertilizer); and others use small integrated sewage treatment equipment to achieve on-site purification of sewage for reuse in toilet flushing or landscaping.
