Huaao Container House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Huaao container house is not a standard term. It is inferred that users want to know about modular prefabricated houses with containers as carriers. These houses are prefabricated in factories and then transported to the site for rapid assembly. They have advantages such as time-saving, cost-saving, and low-carbon. The following is an introduction from multiple aspects:

I. Advantages and Characteristics

  • Time-saving: Taking the Papua New Guinea MRDC modular hotel project as an example, the complete delivery cycle of traditional construction takes 14 to 18 months. However, the modular solution, including domestic production, ocean shipping, and on-site assembly, takes only about 7 months in total, compressing the construction period by nearly half.
  • Cost-saving: Significant savings in labor costs are achieved. In European and American countries, the hourly wage of skilled construction workers is equivalent to 200 to 400 yuan, and labor can account for 40% of the total project cost. In remote areas, local skilled workers are scarce, and the additional costs of foreign labor are extremely high. For hotels of the same scale, the traditional cast-in-place site has 80 to 120 multi-skilled workers stationed permanently, while the modular site only retains lifting, electromechanical connection, and a small number of finishing personnel, with about 45 people stationed permanently. Moreover, with the significant compression of the construction period, using fewer people not only saves salaries but also reduces a large amount of hidden costs such as labor management, accommodation, safety training, and visa approval. In addition, lightweight steel structure modules can significantly reduce the consumption of foundation and main structure materials, reducing material usage by 60 - 70%. The standardized CNC cutting losses in factories are also lower than those of traditional construction site materials.
  • Low-carbon: Standardized factory production reduces pollution such as dust and noise from on-site construction. At the same time, the reduction in material waste is also in line with the concept of low-carbon environmental protection.

II. Product Types There are various types of container houses available on the market, such as standard 20-foot and 40-foot container houses, as well as expandable, luxury prefabricated, solar-panel-equipped, and those suitable for different numbers of occupants (1 - 4 bedrooms). They can meet the needs of various purposes such as schools, hospitals, hotels, residences, offices, and villas.

III. Market Situation According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in the first quarter of 2026, the export growth rate of China's prefabricated buildings (including modular buildings) was as high as 45%. Just at the Shenzhen port, the export of "mobile houses" in the first four months reached 1.68 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 19.6%. The products were shipped to more than 150 countries and regions, indicating a broad market prospect.
