How to Rent Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 24 tháng 9, 2026

Renting mobile toilets can be done following these steps:

I. Determine Requirements Consider the usage scenario (such as outdoor events, construction sites, temporary exhibitions, etc.), the estimated number of users, and the duration of use to determine the quantity and model of mobile toilets needed. Different models vary in capacity and functionality. For example, some high-end models are equipped with independent sinks, air conditioners, or barrier-free facilities, and should be selected based on actual needs.

II. Select a Rental Company Screen rental companies with complete qualifications and good reputations through internet searches, industry recommendations, or business directories. Focus on examining whether the company has environmental certifications (such as compliance with the national GB/T 18920-2002 sewage discharge standard), service coverage (some companies support nationwide delivery), minimum rental periods (usually starting from 1 day), and emergency response capabilities. You can request the company to provide past cases or customer reviews as references.

III. Discuss Rental Details Clarify the following information via phone or online platforms:

  1. Cost Components: Rental fees, deposits (usually charged proportionally to the equipment value), transportation fees (some companies offer free delivery), cleaning fees (some included in the rental fee), and compensation standards for overtime or damage.
  2. Service Content: Whether it includes installation and commissioning, regular cleaning during use (such as once a day), sewage system maintenance, and dismantling and collection services.
  3. Delivery Requirements: The installation site needs to have a flat surface of 5-10 square meters and be close to water and power sources (some equipment can come with its own water tank or power generation device, but this needs to be specified in advance).

IV. Sign the Contract and Pay the Fees The contract should clearly specify the equipment model, quantity, usage time, location, and payment method (usually a 30%-50% down payment of the rental fee, with the balance settled upon return). Focus on verifying liability clauses, such as the criteria for defining equipment damage, deposit refund conditions (the equipment must be undamaged and returned on time), and force majeure handling methods. When paying the deposit, it is advisable to choose a traceable transfer method.

V. Receive and Use Upon delivery of the equipment, conduct an on-site inspection to check the structural integrity, the tightness of the sewage system, and the completeness of accessories (such as toilet paper, disinfectant, etc.). During use, follow the operation manual to avoid dumping debris that could clog the pipes and regularly check the water tank level (if applicable). In case of malfunctions, immediately contact the rental company for repairs and do not disassemble the equipment yourself.

VI. Return and Settlement Before returning, clean up the internal garbage and ensure that the equipment is undamaged and no accessories are missing. After the rental company inspects the equipment, the deposit will be refunded within 3-7 working days (some companies offer on-site refunds). If there are delays in return, equipment damage, or substandard cleaning, corresponding fees will be deducted according to the contract.

Precautions:

  • Prioritize equipment that uses environmentally friendly technologies such as microbial degradation and vacuum suction to reduce odors and pollution.
  • Confirm in advance with the local urban management department whether a temporary occupation permit for public space is required.
  • Increase cleaning frequency in summer and confirm the equipment's freeze-proof performance in winter.
