How to Move Public Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

The relocation of public mobile toilets mainly falls into two categories: relocating entire fixed structures and using mobile toilet units, with the specific processes as follows:

Relocating Entire Fixed Structures

  1. Preliminary Assessment and Planning Professionals need to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the toilet's structure, plumbing system (water supply and sewage pipes), and electrical connections to assess whether it is suitable for relocation. At the same time, detailed investigations of the geological conditions (such as foundation bearing capacity), space size (whether it meets equipment dimensions), and surrounding environment (such as traffic and drainage) of the new site are required to ensure normal operation after relocation without interfering with the surrounding area.

  2. Dismantling and Preparation First, disconnect all connections to the municipal network, including water supply, sewage pipes, and electrical wires. Reinforce the main body of the toilet with support structures (such as steel frames) to prevent deformation or damage during the relocation process. If it is an entire building, the foundation needs to be cut or hydraulic lifting equipment should be used to separate it from the base to ensure it can be lifted as a whole.

  3. Transportation and Installation Place the toilet on a specially made trailer or flatbed truck and transfer it to the new site via low-speed transportation. The transportation route should be planned in advance to avoid areas with height restrictions such as bridges and tunnels, as well as narrow roads. Upon arrival, it should be precisely placed at the predetermined location, and the water supply, sewage, and electrical systems should be reconnected. New foundations should be poured or support structures should be installed to secure the equipment.

  4. Testing and Commissioning After installation, strict tests should be conducted on the flushing system, sink water supply, lighting facilities, and sewage pipes to check for leaks or blockages and make necessary adjustments. Finally, a comprehensive cleaning and disinfection should be carried out to ensure hygiene standards are met.

Using Mobile Toilet Units

  1. Preliminary Assessment and Planning Similar to relocating entire structures, the geological, spatial, and environmental conditions of the new site need to be assessed, but the focus is on confirming the flatness of the ground and the feasibility of anchor point fixation.

  2. Dismantling and Preparation Usually, it is only necessary to disconnect external connections (such as water pipes and electrical wires) and check whether internal equipment (such as toilets and water tanks) is intact, without the need for complex reinforcement or cutting operations.

  3. Transportation and Installation Transport the prefabricated units to the new site using trucks or other transportation tools, adjust the horizontal position using hydraulic devices, and fix them with external anchor points (such as ground stakes or expansion bolts) to prevent displacement.

  4. Testing and Commissioning After installation, test functions such as flushing, ventilation, and lighting, and clean and disinfect the interior space to ensure it can be put into use directly.
