How to Make Prefabricated House Lines

Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026

There are mainly the following methods for making prefabricated house lines:

Making with Cement Mortar and Molds

This is a relatively traditional and common method. First, prepare molds of the appropriate shape. Place the mixed cement mortar at the position on the wall where the lines need to be made. Put the mold on the cement mortar and press evenly to make the cement mortar take the shape of the mold. After the cement mortar has initially set and reached a certain strength, use a trowel to polish the wall surface. Through this method, lines of various shapes, such as straight lines, arcs, and wavy lines, can be quickly made to meet different architectural decoration needs.

Using EPS Decorative Components

EPS decorative components use high-strength polystyrene as the main material, alkali-resistant glass fiber as the reinforcing material, and a specially formulated polymer mortar as the protective layer. This production method has many advantages. It is lightweight, facilitating easy handling and installation; it adheres firmly and can combine well with the wall; installation is convenient, greatly shortening the construction period; the lines are seamless, providing a high overall aesthetic appeal; and it has good environmental performance, meeting the requirements of modern buildings for green and environmental protection.

Using ABS Cast-in-Place Lines

ABS is a material copolymerized from three monomers: acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene. It combines the characteristics of the three components and is a tough, hard, rigid material that is easy to obtain, has excellent comprehensive performance, is inexpensive, and has a wide range of applications. When making prefabricated house lines, ABS material can be cast in place according to design requirements to produce lines that meet specific shapes and dimensions.

Making Plaster Lines

  • Making with Ordinary Paper-Reinforced Plaster: This requires two people to cooperate. One person feeds the plaster at the mouth of the mold using a feeding board in front to ensure an even supply of plaster material; the other person pushes the mold forward to form the initial shape of the lines on the wall. After the edges are basically formed and the plaster is 30-40% dry, use fine paper-reinforced plaster to smooth the edges, achieving the desired decorative effect.
  • Making with Lime Plaster Lines: When forming the protruding edges, use a 1:2 lime mortar (sand sieved through a 3mm mesh) to create the edges. When the lime mortar is 60-70% dry, sprinkle water and use a lime paste mixed with gypsum (generally gypsum: lime paste = 6:4) to smooth the edges within 6-7 minutes, ensuring the quality and aesthetic appeal of the lines.
  • Live Mold Construction Method: This method involves attaching a ruler to one side and creating a ridge on the other side. The mold is placed against the ruler on one side and pressed tightly against the ridge to create the lines. This method ensures the verticality and regularity of the lines.
  • Live Mold Construction Method for Circular Plaster Lines: First, find the center of the circle, nail a nail, and place the top hole of the live mold ruler on the nail. Create circular plaster lines around the center. When applying the finishing coat, do it in one go to ensure the roundness and smoothness of the circular plaster lines.
