How to Make a Mobile Toilet

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

There are mainly two methods for making mobile toilets: using a water storage tank and using a water storage tank with a pallet. Here are the specific steps:

Making a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Tank

  1. Building the Basic Framework: Use an angle grinder to split the water storage tank in half. Fix universal wheels at the four corners of a wooden board for easy movement. Increase the height of the tank with wooden strips and self-tapping screws. Cut an opening on the side, install sponge strips to form a door frame, insert plastic soft boards to create walls, and use the upper half of the tank as the roof. For better aesthetics, apply white waterproof paint.
  2. Installing Indoor Fixtures: Drill a hole at the bottom of the tank to install a drain pipe as a floor drain. Cut a hole on the side to connect a direct joint and place a plastic bucket as a small water storage device. Install a bath heater, toilet, and water tank made of water pipes, and connect the drain pipe to the sewage tank. Connect a water pipe horizontally to the door as the inlet pipe for the sink, and install a hose and a cut-out door.

Making a Mobile Toilet Using a Water Storage Tank and a Pallet

  1. Preparing the Pallet and Water Storage Tank: Fix universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet and place the water storage tank. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked line on the top of the tank, remove the top to create an open tank.
  2. Combining the Tanks and Handling the Openings: Place another open-top water storage tank upside down and stack it on the first tank. Secure the outer frame with self-tapping screws. Cut a rectangular opening as the door, drill a hole in the interior floor to install a drain elbow and water pipes.
  3. Installing Fixtures and Making the Door: Place the toilet and secure it with glue. Install fixtures such as a faucet, sink, toilet water tank, and showerhead. Make a door with wooden boards and hinges and install a door handle.

When making a mobile toilet, ensure that all components are firmly connected and the drainage system is unobstructed to ensure normal use. Also, use materials that meet hygiene and safety standards to avoid problems such as water leakage and odors.
