How to Improve Container Houses

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

Container houses can be improved through reasonable planning and layout, focusing on thermal insulation and lighting, integrating with natural courtyards, enhancing facade aesthetics, ensuring structural safety, selecting appropriate materials, and considering functional practicality.

Reasonable Planning and Layout: Adopt a modular combination approach, using 2-3 containers to拼接 (connect) or stack in an offset manner to expand functional areas such as living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms. For example, connecting two containers can create a flat layout with an integrated living and dining area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with a bathtub; offset stacking can create rich spatial layers, with a leisure courtyard or corridor area left on the ground floor to improve ventilation and lighting; small units can use multifunctional furniture such as folding beds, folding tables, and integrated cabinets to enhance space flexibility.

Focusing on Thermal Insulation and Lighting: Install large floor-to-ceiling windows, roof skylights, and glass partitions to make the interior bright and transparent, blending with nature; add internal insulation layers to walls and roofs, and choose triple-glazed windows to achieve warmth in winter and coolness in summer, with better thermal insulation than brick walls; set up roof eaves or terrace sunshades to prevent sun exposure in summer and enrich the facade.

Integrating with Natural Courtyards: Combine container houses with natural courtyards to create a comfortable living environment. Leisure areas can be set up in the courtyard, and flowers and plants can be planted.

Enhancing Facade Aesthetics: The exterior facade can be treated with paint spraying, themed spray painting, cladding, or installation of glass curtain walls to摆脱 (get rid of) the industrial feel and shape a villa-like atmosphere.

Ensuring Structural Safety: Pay attention to the structure of container modular buildings, including chassis main beams, secondary beams, columns and wall panels in the enclosure structure, and main beams and roofs in the top structure. For beam-column structures, consider the bending and shear forces of beams, and ensure columns are reasonably distributed and appropriately selected. At the same time, pay attention to the stability of panel installation, especially the stability of the top keel structure and ceiling.

Selecting Appropriate Materials: External materials can be selected according to style requirements, while internal materials include those for water and electricity, thermal insulation, decoration, and sound insulation and absorption. For kitchens with open flames, it is recommended to use rock wool as thermal insulation material, and double fire resistance can be achieved in northern regions; materials prone to cracking and moisture damage such as gypsum board and latex paint are not suitable for areas with frequent movement or high humidity.

Considering Functional Practicality: Meet corresponding functional requirements according to the intended use after renovation, such as residential or commercial purposes. For example, commercial uses should consider the scientific and interesting nature of customer shopping and visiting routes; catering uses should consider the layout of kitchen, dining, and food delivery areas.
