How to Hoist Environmental Mobile Toilets
The hoisting of environmental mobile toilets mainly relies on cranes, and it is necessary to select a crane with the appropriate tonnage based on the number of toilet compartments and strictly follow operational specifications. Here are the specific hoisting methods and precautions:

I. Hoisting (Most commonly used, suitable for steel structure/color-steel type)
Hoisting Conditions
Medium-to-large mobile toilets (steel structure or color-steel type) are usually designed for hoisting. There should be four lifting rings at the top as force application points, with dedicated lifting straps (no less than 6 meters in length) welded by the manufacturer. Each lifting strap should be hung separately on each lifting ring. For flat-roofed toilets, the hook positions are the force application points, while for pointed-roofed toilets, the force application points are near the pointed roof.Crane Tonnage Selection
Determine the crane tonnage based on the number of toilet compartments:- 2-4 compartments: A crane of 12 tons or more is required;
- 5-6 compartments: A crane of 16 tons or more is required;
- 7 compartments or more: A crane of 20 tons or more is required.
If the number of toilet compartments exceeds the normal range, the crane specifications should be adjusted according to the actual weight and dimensions.
Operational Specifications
- Keep the toilet level during hoisting. Tilting is strictly prohibited, as it may lead to hook disengagement or structural damage;
- After lifting to the designated position, lower it slowly and secure it to avoid collisions or shaking;
- No foundation construction is required during the installation process. The modular frame and lightweight materials (such as high-strength steel, aluminum alloy frame + environmentally friendly composite panels) can significantly shorten the deployment time.
II. Other Handling Methods (Selected according to the scenario)
Forklift Handling
Suitable for models with forklift slots designed at the bottom (such as those with channel steel/I-beam frames at the bottom). Align the forklift tines with the slots, lift them evenly and maintain balance to prevent tilting. The advantage is that no crane is required, making it suitable for short-distance relocation.Towing
Only applicable to lightweight plastic integrated toilets (weighing about 100kg) with towing ports/hook holes at the bottom or side. They can be towed manually or with a small cart after being hooked with a hook. Pay attention to the flatness of the ground to avoid damaging the outer shell during towing.Powered Trailer Type
Suitable for scenarios that require long-term and frequent relocation (such as construction sites moving with the progress). It has wheels and a towing frame at the bottom and can be towed like a trailer behind a vehicle, eliminating the need for a crane or forklift and offering flexible and efficient operation.
III. Core Design Principles
The core of hoisting-type mobile toilets lies in modular frames and lightweight materials:
- The main structure adopts high-strength steel or aluminum alloy frames, balancing strength and weight;
- It is covered with environmentally friendly composite panels to reduce the overall weight;
- Standardized hoisting interfaces are reserved at the top to ensure compatibility with cranes.
These designs enable the toilets to be quickly hoisted to the designated position and adapt to different terrains and installation requirements.
