How to Construct Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 08 tháng 10, 2026

The construction methods for mobile toilets mainly include three types: installation of complete finished products, fabrication using water storage tanks and pallets, and on-site installation of factory-prefabricated finished products. The specific construction steps and characteristics are as follows:

1. Installation of Complete Finished Products
This method does not require traditional civil engineering work, and the construction process is similar to “building with blocks”. First, determine the installation location and ensure the ground is level. Then, secure the prefabricated toilet body to the ground using columns and assemble the various components with clips or bolts. During installation, it is crucial to check the sealing of the clips to ensure there are no gaps at the connections, preventing water leakage or structural loosening in the future. After assembling the main body, connect the water and electricity lines (if it is an electric model), and finally perform detailed adjustments, such as checking whether the doors and windows open and close properly and whether the toilet flushes correctly. The advantage of this method is its short construction period (usually 1-2 days to complete), and it has low requirements for the on-site environment, making it suitable for temporary events, scenic spots, and other scenarios.

2. Fabrication Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets
Using water storage tanks as the core material, the structural construction and facility installation need to be completed in steps. First, install universal wheels at the four corners of the bottom of the pallet for easy mobility. Then, place the water storage tank and cut an opening at the top. Stack two open tanks and fix the outer frame with self-tapping screws to serve the dual functions of water storage and structural support. Next, cut an entrance on the side of the tank and drill a hole in the internal floor to insert elbows and water pipes. After sealing, connect facilities such as toilets and washbasins. The water and electricity system needs to be designed independently, for example, using a small water pump for flushing, and the water storage tank needs to have a drainage outlet reserved. Finally, install the door, door handle, and internal decorative panels. This method has a relatively low cost but requires manual handling of cutting and sealing processes, demanding higher skills from the constructor. It is suitable for scenarios with a limited budget and those with hands-on capabilities.

3. On-site Installation of Factory-Prefabricated Finished Products
The main body of the mobile toilet is prefabricated in the factory, including the steel structure frame, exterior wall panels, internal facilities (such as toilets and washbasins), and the pre-installation of the water and electricity system. On-site construction only requires basic treatment (such as ground hardening), lifting and fixing the main body, and then connecting the water and electricity pipelines and debugging the equipment. Compared with traditional toilets, this method omits processes such as site selection, material procurement, and on-site pouring, reducing labor and capital investment by 30%-50%. The prefabricated finished products usually adopt a modular design and can expand the number of toilet stalls or add barrier-free facilities according to needs, making them suitable for long-term use in public places such as parks and transportation hubs.

Key Construction Points: Regardless of the method used, it is necessary to ensure structural stability (such as column embedment depth and bolt tightening), the safety of the water and electricity system (such as leak prevention and freeze protection), and environmental protection (such as compliance with standards for sewage storage and discharge). Before construction, select the appropriate type according to the usage scenario and strictly follow the product instructions or design drawings for operation.
