How to Construct Mobile Toilets

There are mainly three construction methods for mobile toilets, with the specific steps as follows:

1. Construction Using Water Storage Tanks and Pallets
First, prepare tools and materials such as water storage tanks, pallets, universal wheels, angle grinders, and self-tapping screws. During construction, fix universal wheels at the four corners of the pallet bottom and place the recycled water storage tanks on the pallet. Use an angle grinder to cut along the marked lines on the top of the water storage tanks to form open-top tanks. Then, stack two open-top water storage tanks upside down and fix them together with self-tapping screws. Subsequently, cut a rectangular opening on the side of the tank as a doorway and drill a hole in the internal floor to insert an elbow, connect the water pipe, and seal it. Install and fix the toilet, ensuring a tight connection with the water pipe. Next, fix the water pipe at the wall fasteners, install a faucet, make a sink with a stainless steel basin, and fix it. Connect the water inlet pipe of the toilet tank, the shower hose, and install the toilet seat and the spray-type showerhead. Finally, make a door with wooden boards and hinges, install a door handle, and complete the overall structural assembly.

2. Installation of Complete Finished Products Without Civil Engineering
This method adopts a modular design, and the construction process is similar to 'building with blocks'. Confirm the flatness of the site in advance and transport components such as columns, wall panels, and roof panels to the site. During installation, first fix the columns, then connect the wall panels to the columns with fasteners or bolts, ensuring that each fastener fits tightly. The roof panels are fixed to the top of the wall panels with special connectors to form a closed space. This method does not require on-site cutting or welding, has a short construction period, and can be disassembled and reused, making it suitable for temporary events or emergency scenarios.

3. Slot-and-Rivet Connection Method
After receiving the finished components, prepare tools such as an electric drill, a 4.2-millimeter drill bit, and a rivet gun. During construction, first install the inner corner pieces, insert the panels into the slots and align them, ensuring a flat interface. Drill holes at the joints with a drill bit, insert rivets, and fix them with a rivet gun to enhance structural stability. This method is suitable for lightweight mobile toilets. The components are mostly prefabricated and standardized designs, enabling rapid assembly through the combination of slots and rivets. It is simple to operate and has a low cost, but attention should be paid to evenly spacing the rivets to avoid local stress concentration.

Construction Precautions:

• When making water storage tanks, ensure that the cutting surfaces are smooth to avoid scratches; the connections of water pipes should be sealed to prevent leakage.
• For modular installation, check the tightness of fasteners or bolts to avoid structural instability caused by looseness.
• When connecting slots, ensure that the insertion depth of the panels meets the design requirements, and check the surface flatness after rivet fixation.
