How Container Houses Drain Sewage

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

Container houses typically drain sewage by installing a self-circulating sewage system, which includes installing sewage collection tanks, gravity separators, and utilizing microbial treatment technologies to achieve the classification and reuse of gray water and black water.

Sewage Collection and Classification Treatment

  • Sewage Collection Tanks and Gravity Separators: Sewage collection tanks are installed at the bottom of container houses, equipped with gravity separators to separately collect and treat gray water (from bathing and washing) and black water (from toilets). This classification treatment method helps improve water resource utilization efficiency and reduce environmental pollution.

Gray Water Treatment and Reuse

  • Sedimentation and Filtration: After sedimentation and activated carbon filtration, gray water can have its impurities and odors removed, making it relatively clean.
  • Reuse: The treated gray water can be reused for non-potable purposes such as watering vegetation outside the container, thus achieving water resource recycling.

Black Water Treatment and Transformation

  • Anaerobic Fermentation: Black water undergoes anaerobic fermentation treatment by adding microbial agents. During this process, microorganisms decompose the organic matter in black water, converting it into liquid fertilizer.
  • Liquid Fertilizer: After anaerobic fermentation treatment, black water becomes liquid fertilizer, which can be used for agricultural purposes, reducing pollution and achieving resource reuse.

Advantages of the Self-Circulating Sewage System

  • Improved Water Resource Self-Sufficiency: Through the self-circulating sewage system, the water resource self-sufficiency rate of container houses can reach over 70%, making it particularly suitable for temporary settlement needs in water-scarce areas.
  • Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency: The system reduces sewage discharge pollution to the environment while achieving water resource recycling, aligning with the concepts of environmental protection and energy efficiency.
  • Strong Adaptability: The self-circulating sewage system is suitable for harsh environments such as wilderness campsites without water or electricity, providing strong support for the application of container houses in various scenarios.
