Housing-style Container Manufacturing

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Key aspects to focus on in housing-style container manufacturing include material selection, structural design, enclosure construction, connection nodes, anti-corrosion treatment, and modular production.

1. Steel Material Selection and Structural Optimization

Housing-style containers use high-strength weathering steel (such as Q355B) as the main frame. The yield strength is approximately 30% higher than that of ordinary carbon steel, allowing for a 15% reduction in material usage. A self-balancing system is formed through rigid connections between corner fittings and side beams, with longitudinal corrugated plates on the top dispersing stress to avoid local buckling. For example, Baotou Xinxing Color Plate Steel Structure Manufacturing Co., Ltd. adopts this design, enabling a single container to remain stable with a length-to-width ratio of 2:1.

2. Thermal Performance of Enclosure Structures

A three-layer composite structure of "rock wool - air layer - aluminized zinc plate" is used. The rock wool layer is 75-100 millimeters thick with a thermal conductivity below 0.040 W/(m·K). The 5-millimeter air layer in the middle inhibits convective heat transfer, resulting in an overall heat transfer coefficient (U-value) below 0.5 W/(m²·K). This design reduces condensation risks in winter in Inner Mongolia and extends the lifespan of the steel structure.

3. Seismic Design of Connection Nodes

For areas with a seismic design intensity of 7 degrees, a dual-fixing mode of "wedge lock + high-strength bolts" is introduced. The wedge lock is made of 45# steel through heat treatment, with a bevel angle of 15 degrees, producing a self-locking effect under horizontal shear forces. In simulated 8-degree earthquake tests, the displacement is controlled within 3 millimeters, which is 40% better than the deformation amplitude of conventional welded nodes, and facilitates secondary disassembly and assembly.

4. Surface Anti-corrosion and Lifecycle

The coating system uses a combination of "epoxy zinc-rich primer + polyurethane topcoat". The primer contains over 80% zinc powder, protecting the substrate through the sacrificial anode principle; the topcoat is added with nano-silica particles, with a hardness of 3H, resisting wind and sand erosion. In salt spray tests (ASTM B117 standard), no red rust appeared after 1000 hours, supporting a 25-year service life for the main structure of the container.

5. Modular and Intelligent Production

Leading domestic companies such as Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. use a full steel structure frame, completing the delivery of 1000 accommodation modules within 3 months through factory prefabrication and on-site rapid assembly, reducing the construction period by 40%. Some companies have introduced intelligent production lines, producing up to 50 modules per day with a manufacturing precision stable at 1-2 millimeters, achieving integrated production of utilities and interior decoration processes.
