House Prefabricated Floor Slab Installation Tutorial
Quản trị 18 tháng 9, 2026
The installation of house prefabricated floor slabs requires adherence to the following key steps and technical points to ensure structural safety and construction quality:

I. Pre-installation Preparation and Basic Information Verification
- Slab Specification Verification: The standard thickness of prefabricated concrete floor slabs is typically 120 millimeters, with 8 main reinforcement bars. Before installation, verify that the slab dimensions, the number and distribution of reinforcement bars meet design requirements. Confirm that the total length indicated on the slab should be reduced by 2 centimeters for reserved gaps to prevent structural issues caused by thermal expansion and contraction or construction errors after installation.
- Structural Load-bearing Capacity Inspection: Ensure that the strength and stability of supporting structures such as beams and columns meet design requirements. Particularly, check the surface flatness of beams where the floor slabs will be placed, with deviations controlled within ±5 millimeters to prevent slab cracking due to uneven local stress.
II. Connection Construction between Prefabricated Floor Slabs and Beams
- Placement and Fixing: In prefabricated steel-concrete frame structures, prefabricated floor slabs should be placed horizontally on the top surface of beams, with the placement length complying with design specifications (usually not less than 80 millimeters). If additional connection measures are required by the design (such as welding or bolt fixing), follow the drawings to ensure that the floor slabs and beams form an integrated load-bearing system.
- Bed Mortar Application: Apply a 1:2 cement mortar (approximately 20 millimeters thick) on the contact surface between the floor slab and the beam to enhance friction and fill small gaps, preventing future squeaks or displacement.
III. Key Points for Installation of Prefabricated Composite Slabs
- Lifting and Positioning:
- Before lifting, use a dedicated lifting steel beam as the lifting device to ensure even distribution of lifting points and balanced stress on the component.
- Slowly lift the prefabricated slab with a tower crane to a position 500 millimeters above the installation location, pause to check the stability of the component, confirm the absence of cracks or distortion, and then accurately lower it to the designed position.
- Temporary Support: Immediately set up temporary supports (such as steel pipe scaffolding) after installing the composite slabs, with support spacing not exceeding 1.5 meters to prevent deformation due to self-weight or construction loads.
IV. Precautions for Installation of Hollow Floor Slabs
- Dimension Matching: Hollow floor slabs (prefabricated prestressed reinforced concrete floor slabs) have longitudinal channels inside. Before installation, verify the matching of slab length and width with the room dimensions and assess the lifting capacity of the lifting machinery (such as maximum lifting weight and boom length).
- Channel Protection: Avoid collision with sharp objects during transportation and lifting to prevent exposure of internal reinforcement or concrete damage. For high-rise buildings, set up temporary fixing measures according to specifications to ensure the stability of the floor slabs under wind loads.
In actual operation, it is essential to strictly follow design drawings and construction specifications, with on-site guidance from professional technicians to ensure that each process complies with safety and quality standards.
