Hotan Prefabricated Assembled Housing
Hotan prefabricated assembled housing is a new type of building form produced through factory prefabrication and on-site assembly. It features diverse functions, strong adaptability, and recyclability, with significant advantages in transportation, application, and industrial promotion.

Outstanding Product Features: Hotan prefabricated assembled housing offers diverse functions, including standard containers, washing containers, and other functional units, which can be flexibly combined into complete living area solutions. Special designs are available for different environments. In gobi desert areas with wind and sand, the sealed design at container joints ensures indoor cleanliness. In plateau regions, oxygen supply solutions such as centralized oxygen generation stations are provided, and plateau pressurized oxygen supply barracks have been developed to alleviate altitude sickness. All products adopt bolt-connected structures, allowing for multiple disassembly and reassembly for recycling, meeting green construction requirements and avoiding quality fluctuations in on-site construction.
Efficient Production and Transportation: Utilizing factory prefabrication and on-site assembly, the production base of China Railway Urban Construction Group Construction Technology Co., Ltd., located in the Hotan Economic and Technological Development Zone, has a designed annual production capacity of 3,000 sets. In the past, container houses used at construction sites in Xinjiang relied on transportation from the mainland, resulting in long logistics cycles, high costs, and unstable supply. Now, relying on the local production base, products can be delivered to major areas in southern Xinjiang within two days, reaching downtown Hotan in as fast as one day, and reaching Kashi, Aksu, and other places the next day. The transportation cost per set has dropped by over a thousand yuan. Project parties can flexibly arrange production schedules and receive goods as needed based on construction progress.
Wide Application and Strong Industrial Promotion: Since the beginning of spring, integrated assembled barracks have been successively shipped to key project sites such as Hami and the Duoku Highway, providing office, accommodation, and living support for builders. The Hotan base has established long-term cooperation with five local steel processing enterprises and two logistics service providers, expected to drive an annual upstream and downstream output value of over 20 million yuan. It has also created local employment opportunities, allowing local steel enterprises to participate in finished product manufacturing and providing logistics companies with stable cargo sources.
Strong Policy Support: The Hotan region has stipulated that the proportion of prefabricated buildings in newly constructed building areas should be no less than 30%, filling a local industrial gap. According to the autonomous region's "Implementation Plan for Carbon Peaking in the Urban and Rural Construction Sector," by 2030, the proportion of prefabricated buildings in newly constructed urban buildings will reach 40%, and all newly constructed buildings will fully implement green building standards.
