Homestay Mobile Toilet Engineering Solution

Quản trị 13 tháng 10, 2026

The engineering solution for homestay mobile toilets requires comprehensive design from multiple aspects, including site selection, foundation, main structure, supporting facilities, environmental protection, construction, and maintenance, as detailed below:

Site Selection and Layout: Preferably located on the inner side of the living area, 30-50 meters away from dormitories and canteens to avoid inconvenience during nighttime use and odor interference. Avoid the prevailing summer wind direction to prevent odors from drifting towards office or residential areas; if there are surrounding walls or barriers, they can be placed adjacent to create visual shielding and wind direction guidance. Before construction, confirm that there are no underground cables, gas pipelines, or main water supply lines, and consult pipeline maps and mark them if necessary.

Foundation Treatment: Remove the top layer of loose soil and gravel, and compact the foundation using a rammer or manually, with a compaction degree of ≥90%. Pour a 10-15 cm thick C20 concrete cushion, with an area 30 cm wider on each side than the outer contour of the toilet base, and reserve a 2%-3% drainage slope towards the sewage outlet collection ditch. If the construction period is tight or repeated relocations are required, prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs or steel road base boxes can be used, with fasteners locking the slabs together.

Main Structure: Adopt an integrated steel structure frame, combined with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) wall panels or color-steel sandwich panels, featuring light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and a fire rating of Class A. The recommended dimensions for a single unit are 1.2 meters in length, 1.2 meters in width, and 2.4 meters in height, with an internal clear height of ≥2 meters. Modular design can shorten deployment time and reduce the environmental impact of on-site construction.

Supporting Facilities: Equip with water-saving squat toilets (6L/flush), hand basins, dressing tables, and mirrors; install mechanical ventilation devices and smart induction LED lights (200LUX illumination). The exterior uses metal carved panels, the interior walls are integrated decorative panels, the floor is laid with 300×300mm non-slip vitrified tiles, and the roof is equipped with a 50mm thick insulation layer and 4mm thick SBS waterproofing membrane.

Environmental Protection and Sustainability: Prioritize the use of recyclable steel, eco-friendly paints, and biodegradable decorative materials to reduce the environmental footprint throughout the lifecycle. Install waterproofing materials and sealants to ensure the airtightness of the sewage system, preventing leakage and contamination of soil or water sources.

Construction Process: Level the site and set up warning signs and temporary drainage facilities; excavate the foundation pit, lay the cushion, and install drainage pipes; hoist the toilet body, adjust the level, and connect accessories such as toilets and hand basins, install ventilation and lighting equipment; finally, check that all functions are normal and ensure compliance with design requirements.

Management and Maintenance: Develop a cleaning plan and regularly inspect the operational status of equipment; equip with spare parts and repair tools to respond to sudden failures, ensuring long-term stable use of the toilets.
