Usage Methods for Home Portable Toilets
The usage methods for home portable toilets vary depending on the type, primarily divided into regular portable toilets and smart toilet-type portable toilets. Here are the specific usage methods:

Regular Portable Toilets
Regular portable toilets are generally equipped with basic facilities such as light bulb sockets, ventilation fans, air outlets, and flush tanks. When using, first ensure that these facilities are functioning properly. Place the portable toilet on a stable surface, connect it to a power source, and check if the light bulb illuminates properly, and if the ventilation fan and air outlet are operating correctly to ensure air circulation inside the toilet and prevent odor buildup. For the flush tank, check if the water level inside is sufficient and if the flush button is responsive. During use, press the flush button after using the toilet to flush away waste using the water in the tank. If there is an odor inside the toilet, turn on the ventilation fan and air outlet to accelerate air exchange. Additionally, regularly clean up garbage and stains inside the toilet to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Smart Toilet-Type Portable Toilets
- Power-On and Preheating: After connecting to a power source, the toilet seat usually automatically enters standby mode. If the smart toilet supports seat heating functionality, you can set the temperature level in advance on the remote control or side panel according to your needs to make the seat more comfortable during use.
- Cleaning Function: The cleaning function of smart toilets typically includes modes such as posterior wash and feminine wash. Press the corresponding button, and the hidden nozzle will automatically extend, spraying warm water. Some models also support "moving wash" or "massage mode," which can be selected according to personal preference. The cleaning time is generally 30 seconds to 1 minute. After cleaning, press the "stop" button, and the nozzle will automatically retract and initiate a self-cleaning program to ensure hygiene.
- Drying Function: After cleaning, press the "warm air" button to activate the drying function. The air temperature can be adjusted according to your needs. If you feel the drying time is too long, you can also use tissue paper to absorb moisture first and then proceed with drying to improve efficiency.
- Flush Operation: Smart toilets offer various flushing methods, including automatic flush upon leaving the seat, foot-sensing flush, manual button flush, and emergency flush during power outages, among others. Different models support different methods. Users can choose the appropriate flushing method based on the actual situation to ensure proper disposal of waste.
