Home Portable Toilet Installation

Quản trị 24 tháng 9, 2026

The installation process for a home portable toilet (portable commode) is as follows:

  1. Unpack and Check Components
Upon receiving the product, open the package immediately and carefully check the component list to ensure all parts (such as upper and lower buckets, silicone anti-slip pads, toilet flange, angle valve, water inlet hose, spray head assembly, sealing gaskets, etc.) are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact the merchant promptly for replacement or reshipment to avoid interruptions during installation.

  2. Install Anti-Slip Pads
Insert the silicone anti-slip pads into the recesses at the four corners of the bottom of the portable toilet, ensuring a tight fit between the pads and the bucket. The anti-slip pads enhance equipment stability, preventing displacement or tipping due to wet floors or uneven force distribution during use, especially on tiled or smooth surfaces.

  3. Assemble Upper and Lower Buckets
Align the upper bucket with the lower bucket, ensuring precise matching of the snap-fit positions, then press down evenly until the snaps are fully engaged. Exercise moderate force during this step to avoid breaking the snaps or deforming the buckets due to excessive pressure. After assembly, gently shake the bucket to check for stability and ensure no looseness.

  4. Install Toilet Flange
Align the center of the toilet flange (drain outlet) with the center of the floor drainpipe, then slowly lower the portable toilet to ensure a tight fit between the flange and the pipe. The flange seals the drain outlet, preventing sewage leakage or odor backflow. If there is a misalignment between the flange and the pipe, adjust the position and reposition; do not forcefully press down, which could deform the flange.

  5. Connect Water Inlet System

    • Install Angle Valve: Secure the angle valve to the water inlet pipe connection, ensuring the threads are tightened and there is no water leakage.
    • Assemble Three-Way Connector and Hose: Install a three-way connector at the outlet end of the angle valve, connecting one end to the toilet water inlet hose and the other end to the spray head assembly. Wrap Teflon tape around the threads during connection and tighten the sealing gaskets to prevent leaks.
    • Secure Spray Head Bracket: Forcefully snap the spray head bracket into the top of the three-way connector, ensuring the bracket is stable and the spray head can be adjusted flexibly.
  6. Water Test and Seal with Glue
After connecting the water inlet system, turn on the water source for a water test to check for leaks at each connection, smooth water flow from the spray head, and unobstructed drainage. If the water test is normal, apply a circle of waterproof silicone sealant along the edge where the portable toilet contacts the floor to further seal and prevent moisture, extending the equipment's service life.

Precautions: Ensure the floor is level and dry before installation, avoiding operation in wet or sloped environments; if water and electricity modifications are involved, it is recommended to have them performed by professionals; regularly check the tightness of components such as snaps and sealing gaskets to ensure safe use.
