Size of Home Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 22 tháng 9, 2026

The size selection of home mobile toilets should be determined based on the number of users and spatial conditions. Common types include single-person and double-person models, with specific size ranges as follows:

Single-person mobile toilets are the most common choice for home settings, with size designs that balance comfort and space utilization. The standard single-person model typically measures 110cm in length, 110cm in width, and 230cm in height. This size can accommodate adults standing, turning around, and using the toilet normally, with a reasonable internal layout that fits a standard toilet or squat toilet while providing sufficient legroom. The compact single-person model is even more space-efficient, generally measuring 100cm in length, 100cm in width, and 220cm in height. It is suitable for families with extremely limited space, such as small apartments or temporary setups, though its internal space may feel cramped for larger individuals. The minimum width for single-person models is 80cm, with an upper limit of 120cm, while the height generally ranges from 220-240cm. The height design should ensure a safe distance between the user's head and the top to avoid a feeling of confinement.

For families with more members or those needing to accommodate multiple users simultaneously, the double-person mobile toilet is a better option, typically measuring 180-220cm in length, 100-120cm in width, and 220-240cm in height. These toilets feature a dual-station layout achieved by extending the length, allowing for two independent toilet units arranged side by side or back to back, suitable for families with elderly members, children, or individuals with mobility issues. For example, a model measuring 200cm in length and 110cm in width can accommodate two standard toilets, with a central aisle for easy care, while the 110cm width ensures sufficient space for wheelchair rotation, reflecting barrier-free design principles.

Key factors to consider when selecting a size:

  1. Home spatial conditions: Measure the length, width, and clear height of the placement area to ensure the mobile toilet can be installed without obstructing door or window openings or daily passage.
  2. Usage frequency and number of users: For frequent use or larger families, a double-person model is recommended to avoid waiting in line; for infrequent use or solo occupants, a compact single-person model may be preferable.
  3. Functional expansion needs: If additional features like a sink or storage cabinet are required, additional space should be allocated based on the base size, such as an extra 40-60cm width for a sink.

Note that some manufacturers offer customization services to adjust sizes according to specific needs, but structural stability and compliance with building safety regulations must be ensured.
