High-End Container House Size

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The sizes of high-end container houses vary depending on the type and customization requirements. Common standard sizes and customization ranges are as follows:

I. International Standard Dry Container Sizes The internationally standardized dry container (DRY CONTAINER) serves as the foundational module for container houses, with the following external and internal dimensions:

  • 20-foot Standard Container (20GP): External dimensions are 6058×2438×2591mm, with an internal net size of approximately 5898×2352×2390mm and a volume of about 33 cubic meters.
  • 40-foot Standard Container (40GP): External dimensions are 12192×2438×2591mm, with an internal net size of approximately 12024×2352×2390mm and a volume of about 67 cubic meters.
  • 40-foot High Cube Container (40HQ): The external height is increased to 2896mm, with an internal net height of approximately 2655mm and a volume of about 76 cubic meters, suitable for scenarios requiring greater ceiling height.

II. Non-Standard Customized Container Sizes To meet diverse needs, container houses can be customized in length, width, and height as required:

  • Length: Common non-standard lengths include 3m, 6m, 9m, 12m, etc. For example, a "3m×6m" packaged container mobile house is suitable for construction site dormitories or temporary office spaces.
  • Width: Options range from 2.5m, 2.55m, 3m, 4m, etc. For instance, Qingdao Huilongfeng customizes container houses with a width of up to 3m, providing more spacious interiors.
  • Height: Options include 2.6m, 2.7m, 2.8m, 2.9m, etc. For example, a residential container customized by manufacturers around Beijing has a height of 2.7m, accommodating 5 bunk beds for 10 people.

III. Special Type Container Sizes

  • Open-Top Container: The top is open for easy lifting of large equipment. A 20-foot open-top container has an internal volume of approximately 31.5 cubic meters, while a 40-foot open-top container has about 65 cubic meters.
  • Flat-Rack Container: The bottom is flat, suitable for transporting overweight cargo. A 20-foot flat-rack container has an internal volume of approximately 28 cubic meters, while a 40-foot flat-rack container has about 50 cubic meters.
  • Packaged Container: The internal dimensions are approximately 5880×2840×2500mm, utilizing galvanized steel structures and color-steel glass wool sandwich panels, weighing about 1350kg, suitable for rapidly deployable temporary buildings.
