Guangzhou Container Module House
Guangzhou container module house is a form of housing that divides a building into independent modules, prefabricates them in a factory, and then transports them to the site for assembly into a complete building.

Construction Method
Traditional construction involves transporting building materials to the construction site, where workers complete the entire process of pouring, wall building, and decoration on-site, which is essentially “handwork”. In contrast, Guangzhou container module houses first disassemble the entire building into individual spatial units (modules) and produce them on standardized assembly lines in factories. The steel structure of the modules is welded like the body of a car, and all the components such as walls, doors, windows, electromechanical pipelines, bathroom fixtures, and furniture soft furnishings are assembled like the final assembly of a car. For example, in a structural modular intelligent factory in Guangdong, a fully automatic production line over 400 meters long operates continuously. Welding, assembly, and grinding robots work in coordination, and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles) shuttle back and forth in the workshop. A house is disassembled into six components: the bottom, top, and four sides, which are produced simultaneously on multiple sub-production lines and finally assembled into a complete box at the end of the production line. The daily output of modules can reach 50.
Advantages and Characteristics
- Short Construction Period: Traditional construction of a nursing home takes 22 months, while the construction period of a modular nursing home is only 11 months, halving the time.
- Controllable Quality: Produced on factory assembly lines, the manufacturing precision is stably controlled within 1 to 2 millimeters, and each process is strictly controlled. Full-process quality monitoring from raw materials to finished products ensures that the products are durable.
- Customizable: All products can be customized according to customer needs, meeting the diverse requirements of different scenarios, such as container offices, reception rooms, dormitories, homestays, and shops.
- Environmentally Friendly and Energy-Efficient: Some modular living container series have passed national green building material certifications and won honors such as “Demonstration Product for Energy Efficiency in Prefabricated Buildings”.
- Convenient Transportation and Installation: Modular houses can be transported like containers and quickly assembled into complete buildings upon arrival at the destination, just like building with blocks.
