Gradually Move Dog Toilet
When moving a dog toilet, it should be done gradually. Do not move it too far at once, as the dog may refuse to excrete in the new location due to不适应 (inadaptability). The specific operation methods are as follows:

For dogs trained with a dog toilet: Once the dog is familiar with and has the habit of excreting in the dog toilet, the owner can start to gradually move the position of the dog toilet. The moving process should be slow and orderly, and the distance moved each time should not be too large to ensure that the dog can gradually adapt to the new location. For example, the dog toilet can first be moved to a place close to its original position, and then observe the dog's reaction. If the dog can excrete smoothly in the new location, gradually move the dog toilet to a more suitable place such as the balcony or bathroom. The entire moving process may take several days or even weeks, depending on the dog's adaptability and training effectiveness. During the moving process, the owner should be patient and avoid scolding or punishing the dog due to its temporary inadaptability, so as not to affect the training effectiveness.
For dogs trained with the newspaper method: Once the dog has developed the habit of excreting on newspapers, the owner can try to place only clean newspapers every day to induce the dog to smell the newspaper and go to the toilet. This step helps to strengthen the dog's awareness of the excretion location and reduce its dependence on old excreta. After the dog gets used to it, slowly move the position of the newspapers, for example, from the living room to the bathroom. After each move, observe the dog's reaction to ensure that it can adapt to the new location. If the dog excretes smoothly in the new location, the number of newspapers can be gradually reduced, and eventually, all the newspapers can be taken away, allowing the dog to excrete directly in the bathroom. This process also needs to be carried out gradually to avoid putting too much pressure on the dog.
Whether using a dog toilet or the newspaper method for training, the key is to be patient and consistent. Dogs need time to learn and adapt. The owner should give sufficient encouragement and rewards to help the dog establish correct excretion habits.
