Fujian Housing Container Installation
Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026
The installation of housing containers in Fujian should follow a scientific process, strictly controlling each step in combination with the local climate characteristics. The specific steps and precautions are as follows:

I. Preliminary Preparations
- Site Selection and Drainage Design
Avoid low-lying areas prone to water accumulation and choose flat, solid ground to reduce the risk of settlement. Given the high annual precipitation in Fujian, plan the drainage system in advance, such as setting slopes or concealed drains, to prevent rainwater from backing up. - Permit Application
Contact the property management or local housing and construction department to apply for an installation permit. Confirm the height (usually ≤6 meters), area (single building ≤200㎡), and usage duration limits of temporary buildings to avoid regulatory risks. - Material Inspection
Check the components such as frames, panels, doors, and windows. Focus on inspecting the steel frames for rust or deformation (especially in coastal areas where galvanized or thickened steel should be used), and check for damage to glass and insulation cotton. Contact the manufacturer for replacement immediately if any issues are found.
II. Installation Process
- Foundation Fixation
- Concrete strip foundations are preferred. Soft soil foundations require reinforcement, such as driving in steel piles or laying gravel cushions.
- When installing frame columns and beams, use high-strength bolts for connection to ensure firm joints. In coastal areas of Fujian, additional anti-wind guy ropes should be fixed to enhance structural stability.
- Main Body Construction
- Install the roof, wall, and floor panels in sequence, using the positioning slots and buckles of the modular design for splicing to reduce the need for welding.
- Rock wool sandwich panels are preferred for wall panels as they have both fire-resistant and moisture-resistant properties, suitable for the high-humidity environment in Fujian.
III. Finalization and Acceptance
- Interior Decoration
- Pipeline installation should be in concealed troughs. Wrap electrical and water circuits with waterproof tape or PVC sleeves. Test the airtightness of doors and windows after installation, and focus on checking for leaks on rainy days.
- Lay moisture-proof mats or tiles on the floor to prevent long-term moisture from causing panel deformation.
- Safety Inspection
Contact a third-party agency for acceptance, focusing on testing the structural load-bearing capacity, wind resistance rating (should be ≥12), and fire resistance performance to ensure compliance with the "Fujian Provincial Technical Specifications for Temporary Buildings".
IV. Key Precautions
- Climate Adaptability
- Material Selection: Steel should be galvanized. Door and window fittings should use anti-theft locks and louvered windows with screens to prevent typhoon damage and mosquito intrusion.
- Construction Timing: Avoid the rainy season or periods of high typhoon frequency to reduce the impact of weather on the construction schedule.
- Team and Contract
- Choose a construction team with qualifications registered with the housing and construction department. The installation period is usually 3-7 days (7-15 days for packing-box houses).
- The contract should clearly define warranty responsibilities, such as responding within 12 hours in case of rainy-season leaks and providing 24-hour maintenance services for electrical circuit failures.
The installation of housing containers in Fujian should prioritize safety and incorporate moisture-proof and wind-resistant concepts throughout the design, material selection, and construction process to achieve long-term stable use.
