Flushing Method of Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 23 tháng 9, 2026

The flushing methods of mobile toilets mainly include water-flushing and waterless-flushing types, with some intelligent types having special designs, but these are less commonly applied.

Water-flushing Mobile Toilets

Water-flushing mobile toilets rely on an external water supply system for flushing. Their working principle involves two key steps: water injection and flushing. Typically, the freshwater tank is located on the front right side, and users can complete the water injection by turning on a specific device. During flushing, stepping on a pedal releases water to flush the waste into the sewage tank. This flushing method is suitable for construction sites with a stable water supply and convenient sewage disposal, such as urban construction areas. Its notable advantages are that the user experience is close to that of a fixed public toilet, it can effectively control odors, and provide a relatively comfortable environment for users. However, it also has significant limitations. Since it depends on the water supply system, once there is a problem with the water supply, the toilet will not function properly. Additionally, the sewage tank requires regular emptying; otherwise, issues like overflow can affect the normal operation of the toilet.

Waterless-flushing Mobile Toilets

Waterless-flushing mobile toilets do not require a water supply and use unique methods to handle waste. One approach is to use biodegradable plastic bags to collect the waste, which can then be disposed of by regularly replacing the bags. Another method employs microbial decomposition technology, where microorganisms break down the waste, and it is necessary to regularly replenish the microbial cultures to maintain the decomposition effect. This flushing method (actually a waterless treatment method) is suitable for remote or temporary construction sites with poor water supply conditions. In such places, water-flushing mobile toilets are difficult to use due to water supply issues, while waterless-flushing mobile toilets can effectively solve the toilet problem.

Special Designs

Some intelligent mobile toilets may incorporate a foot-kick flushing function, which is triggered by a foot-kick mark located at the bottom right of the ceramic fixture. This design is mainly intended to facilitate use by men after urination. However, such designs are more commonly found in fixed intelligent toilets and are relatively rare in mobile toilets, mainly due to factors such as space limitations, cost considerations, and usage scenarios in mobile toilets.
