How to Fix Finished Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 08 tháng 10, 2026

The fixing methods for finished mobile toilets can be divided into two categories based on usage scenarios: outdoor use and transportation. Specific operations should be selected according to the characteristics of the scenario.

I. Fixing Methods for Outdoor Use Scenarios

  1. Site Selection and Foundation Treatment Prioritize selecting flat areas with good drainage to avoid low-lying areas with water accumulation or soft ground. If the ground is soft (e.g., muddy or sandy), lay a layer of gravel or wooden planks with a thickness of ≥10 cm to ensure uniform foundation bearing capacity and prevent local settlement that could cause the toilet to tilt.

  2. Ground Anchor Fixing Method Use expansion screws (for hard ground) or ground anchor pins (for soft ground) to connect the fixing chains at the four corners or beneath the load-bearing structure of the toilet. The ground anchor pins should be driven vertically into the ground to a depth of ≥30 cm. If space permits, pour concrete blocks or place counterweight blocks (e.g., stones, metal blocks) to enhance stability.

  3. Windbreak Rope and Diagonal Pull Fixing Install windbreak ropes at the top of the toilet and fix them to pre-buried ground stakes (with a depth of ≥50 cm). In strong wind conditions (wind speed ≥6), adopt a "well"-shaped diagonal pull method: add diagonal pull ropes at the middle and upper sides of the toilet, forming an angle of 45°-60° with the ground to create a multi-directional load-bearing structure and disperse wind pressure.

  4. Additional Counterweight Scheme Add heavy objects such as sandbags or water tanks inside or outside the toilet. The counterweights should be evenly distributed to avoid重心偏移 (center-of-gravity shift) caused by excessive weight on one side. For example, place a 50 kg sandbag at each corner of the toilet or increase weight by filling the built-in water tank with water.

  5. Regular Inspection and Maintenance During events, inspect the fixing devices (e.g., ground anchors, windbreak ropes) daily for looseness. Reinforce them in advance when rain or strong wind warnings are issued. It is recommended to inspect every 12 hours, focusing on checking for rust at connection points and displacement of counterweights.

II. Fixing Methods During Transportation

  1. Selection of Fixing Tools

    • For small toilets (weight ≤2 tons): Use nylon straps with a width of ≥5 cm and a tensile strength of ≥5000 kg, ensuring the straps are free from wear or risk of breakage.
    • For large toilets (weight >2 tons): Use steel wire ropes with a diameter of ≥8 mm, equipped with at least 3 professional clamps (with a spacing between clamps of ≥6 times the diameter of the steel wire rope, i.e., ≥48 mm) to prevent slipping.
  2. Determination of Fixing Positions

    • Bottom fixing: Connect to the dedicated fixing points (e.g., pre-buried lifting rings) at the four corners or edges of the toilet bottom and tighten them through the fixing rings at the bottom of the vehicle to ensure vertical load-bearing.
    • Side fixing: For toilets with a height of >2.5 meters, pull diagonally from the fixing points (e.g., handles, brackets) at the middle or upper sides of the toilet to the vehicle railings to form a triangular structure and enhance lateral stability.
  3. Protective Measures

    • Place 5 cm thick anti-slip rubber pads between the toilet and the vehicle to increase friction and prevent sliding during transportation.
    • Lay buffer materials such as foam boards or sponges around the toilet to absorb shocks and protect the structure, avoiding deformation of the outer shell or loosening of connectors due to bumps.

General Principles: Regardless of the scenario, check the integrity of the tools before fixing (e.g., no cracks in the straps, no broken strands in the steel wire ropes) and conduct regular re-inspections during use (every 12 hours for outdoor scenarios, every 2 hours for transportation scenarios) to ensure safety.
