Principle of Environmental Mobile Toilet

Quản trị 21 tháng 9, 2026

The principles of environmental mobile toilets vary depending on the technological type, mainly including core mechanisms such as waterless ecological treatment, solid-liquid separation and microbial degradation, and rapid installation.

Principle of Waterless Ecological Toilets

This type of toilet employs a microcomputer control system and sensing devices. It automatically detects the presence of users through infrared or pressure sensors, triggering lighting, ventilation, and waste separation systems. The core lies in the biochemical treatment of solid waste using a composite microbial community, which decomposes organic matter into harmless gases such as carbon dioxide and water vapor through enzymatic action, achieving a solid reduction rate of over 90%. Meanwhile, urine is decomposed by a dedicated treatment module to meet the standards for reclaimed water, which is then used for toilet flushing or green irrigation through a recycling system, eliminating the need for an external water source throughout the process.

Solid-Liquid Separation and Microbial Degradation Technology

  1. Solid-Liquid Separation Mechanism: Urine and feces are separated and collected through physical structures. Urine is processed through membrane filtration or chemical precipitation to extract enzyme proteins, which are then made into liquid water-soluble fertilizers; feces enter the biological treatment chamber.
  2. Microbial Degradation Process: In the biological chamber, efficient bacterial strains (such as Bacillus and Actinomycetes) rapidly reproduce under suitable temperature and humidity conditions, decomposing organic matter in feces into small molecular substances. This process generates high temperatures between 50 and 65℃, effectively killing pathogenic microorganisms such as Escherichia coli and Ascaris eggs, ensuring that the treated residues meet harmless standards.
  3. Resource Utilization: The decomposition products include carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of nitrogen gas. The residual solid substances, after stabilization treatment, can be used as organic base fertilizers for landscaping or agricultural planting.

Rapid Installation Principle

Environmental mobile toilets adopt a modular design, with the main structure made of high-strength lightweight materials (such as fiberglass reinforced plastic and aluminum alloy). They are quickly assembled through standardized interfaces. The installation process does not require excavation of septic tanks or complex civil engineering works. It only involves leveling the ground and then sequentially assembling columns, wall panels, roofs, and other components, which are fixed with snap-fit connectors to ensure structural stability. Some models are equipped with adjustable feet to adapt to different terrain conditions, taking only a few hours from transportation to commissioning.

Technological Synergy Advantages

The aforementioned technologies achieve environmental goals through system integration: waterless ecological treatment reduces water consumption, solid-liquid separation enhances microbial degradation efficiency, and modular installation lowers construction costs. For example, a certain model of toilet combines microbial degradation with reclaimed water circulation technology, capable of treating the excreta of 200 people per day, achieving a water-saving rate of 98%. Moreover, the residues comply with the standards of "Organic Fertilizers" (NY/T 525-2021), forming a closed-loop ecological chain of "treatment-utilization-emission reduction".
