Functions of Ecological Mobile Toilets

Quản trị 20 tháng 9, 2026

The main functions of ecological mobile toilets include harmless treatment of excreta, water-saving or waterless flushing, automation and intelligent control, environmental protection and resource recycling, mobility and adaptability, as well as hygiene and comfort.

  1. Harmless Treatment of Excreta
Ecological mobile toilets utilize microbial degradation technology to break down feces into water vapor, carbon dioxide, and a small amount of organic fertilizer, achieving waterless, odorless, and resource-utilizing treatment. For example, waterless biological treatment fertilizer-producing toilets can ferment feces to generate humic organic fertilizer, and urine can be treated and used as liquid fertilizer, reducing pollution and achieving resource recycling.

  2. Water-saving or Waterless Flushing Functions
According to the technology type, ecological mobile toilets are divided into three categories:

  • Waterless flushing type: Including waterless packaging type (degradable film seals excreta) and waterless flushable type (special agents treat urine as flushing liquid), requiring no water source or pipeline.
  • Water-saving type: For instance, foam-blocking type has a water-saving rate exceeding 90%, and vacuum self-priming type consumes only 0.5-1 liters of water, significantly reducing water consumption.
  • Recirculating water flushing type: Through biological treatment or membrane separation technology, feces and urine are converted into clean water for reuse in toilet flushing or landscaping, achieving a closed-loop water cycle.
  1. Automation and Intelligent Control
Integrated with a microcomputer control system, it can automatically sense personnel to trigger lighting, ventilation, separation, and other operations, and features temperature and humidity monitoring, pedestrian traffic statistics, air quality monitoring, and intelligent deodorization functions. Some smart public toilets also support face recognition for paper dispensing, real-time monitoring via apps, etc., enhancing management efficiency.

  2. Environmental Protection and Resource Recycling
No need for excavation and transportation, with a degradation rate of 97%, feces are pollution-free and easy to utilize, aligning with sustainable development concepts. Some types adopt renewable energy technologies such as solar power and rainwater collection systems to further reduce environmental burdens.

  3. Mobility and Adaptability
Freely movable, suitable for temporary venues such as construction sites, exhibitions, and outdoor events, as well as eco-tourism areas and parks with strict environmental protection requirements. Some types are designed for high-temperature, cold, or humid environments, featuring heat insulation, moisture resistance, and other functions to adapt to diverse climatic conditions.

  4. Hygiene and Comfort
Through odorless design, no risk of cross-infection, and contactless functions (such as waving to open doors, changing seat pads), it provides a hygienic and comfortable toilet environment. The epidemic prevention performance of smart mobile toilets is significantly enhanced, meeting public health and safety requirements.
