Durable Container Mobile House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Container mobile houses are generally quite durable and can last for 25 years or even longer with proper maintenance. Their durability is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1. Strong Structural Stability

Container mobile houses are based on shipping containers and are made of high-strength steel, featuring a sturdy steel frame and a weather-resistant outer shell. After anti-rust, fireproof, and thermal insulation treatments, their structural stability is significantly enhanced. For example, the container mobile houses of Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. have been tested by third parties and can withstand strong winds of up to Level 12 and have an earthquake resistance rating of Level 8. The maximum deformation of the frame is only 2mm, far below the national standard limit of 10mm. This structural stability enables them to adapt to extreme working conditions, such as the typhoon season in coastal areas or earthquake-prone regions, and they are not prone to deformation or damage during long-term use.

2. High Material Durability

Containers are usually made of corrosion-resistant steel and have a designed lifespan of 25 years or more. With continuous maintenance and upkeep, such as regular anti-rust treatments, painting, and inspections, their service life can be further extended. For example, Baotou Xinxing Color Plate Steel Structure Manufacturing Co., Ltd. performs shot blasting and rust removal on the surface of the container body and then sprays zinc-rich primer and polyurethane topcoat. This protective system can maintain the effective service life of the steel for more than 15 years in the windy and sandy environment with large temperature differences in northwest China.

3. Proper Maintenance Can Extend Lifespan

The durability of container mobile houses also depends on regular maintenance. Externally, the coating needs to be regularly inspected and maintained to prevent rust and structural damage. Internally, the pipelines, electrical systems, and thermal insulation facilities need to be regularly inspected to ensure normal functionality. Good ventilation and cleanliness also help to extend the service life. For example, by using a broken-bridge lining structure and rubber thermal insulation pads to deal with the cold and hot bridge effect, the heat exchange efficiency between the inside and outside of the container can be reduced by about 40%, reducing material aging caused by temperature differences.

4. Compliant Products Have Better Performance

There are some non-standard off-brand products on the market that use thin steel or inferior materials, with a wind resistance rating of only Level 6-7, far below the national standard requirements. These products not only have poor durability but also pose safety hazards. Compliant manufacturers' products pass fire performance tests and wind and earthquake resistance certifications, and their reusability rate is over 80%, resulting in lower long-term use costs.
