Double-Storey Container House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Double-storey container houses generally refer to double-decker container buildings designed through vertical stacking, featuring high space utilization, easy installation, and reusability. They are widely used in scenarios such as temporary offices, construction site accommodations, and cultural and tourism facilities.

I. Structural Design Features

Double-decker container houses adopt a modular design concept, achieving space multiplication through the vertical stacking of standard container units. Taking products from Shandong Guoheng Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. as an example, the height of a single floor is 2.9 meters, and the total height after double-decker combination reaches 5.8 meters, forming a three-dimensional functional zoning. The main structure uses a Q355B high-strength steel frame, paired with 50mm-thick rock wool sandwich panel wallboards, ensuring both structural strength and improved fire resistance (Class B1). The connection system employs prefabricated connectors, enabling quick locking and disassembly of upper and lower containers, balancing structural stability with layout flexibility.

II. Core Performance Parameters

  1. Space Efficiency: A single 40-foot container, after modification, has a usable area of approximately 30 square meters, and the double-decker combination provides a practical area of 60 square meters, saving 50% of the footprint compared to a single-floor solution.
  2. Load-Bearing Capacity: The floor can bear a load of up to 500kg/m², meeting the needs of office and accommodation scenarios.
  3. Wind Resistance: The main structure has a wind resistance rating of up to Level 10, adapting to various climatic conditions.
  4. Durability: Through professional welding techniques and anti-rust treatment, the service life can exceed 15 years.

III. Typical Application Scenarios

  1. Construction Sites: The lower floor serves as an office area, and the upper floor as a living area, achieving functional zoning.
  2. Cultural and Tourism Projects: Creative combinations form characteristic homestay clusters, paired with glass curtain walls to create transparent display spaces.
  3. Emergency Relief: Quickly deployed as temporary medical stations or disaster relief command centers.
  4. Commercial Exhibitions: Large-span modifications meet brand exhibition needs.

IV. Safety Precautions

Strictly select fire-resistant materials (such as rock wool panels) and avoid using flammable sandwich panels like polystyrene; electrical wiring should be protected with sleeves and equipped with simple fire extinguishing equipment; maintain a spacing of more than 6 meters between containers to ensure fire safety.
