Double-Deck Double-Container House

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

The double-deck double-container house is a modular building form that achieves space doubling by vertically stacking two standard containers. It features a sturdy structure, high space utilization, and flexible deployment, making it suitable for construction site camps, commercial exhibitions, temporary offices, and other scenarios.

I. Structural Features and Space Advantages

The double-deck container adopts a combined structure of high-strength steel frames and fire-resistant and thermal-insulating panels, achieving space doubling through vertical stacking design. Taking Shandong Guoheng's standard product as an example, a single 40-foot container, after modification, has a usable area of approximately 30 square meters. When combined into a double-deck structure, the practical area reaches 60 square meters, saving 50% of the floor space compared to a single-deck solution. Its main body is made of Q355B high-strength steel, with a wind resistance rating of up to Level 10. The wall panels are 50mm thick rock wool sandwich panels, with a fire resistance rating of B1. The floor has a load-bearing capacity of 500kg/m², meeting the requirements of temporary building codes.

II. Core Performance Parameters

  1. Structural Stability: Standardized connector design reduces the installation period by 60% compared to traditional prefabricated houses and supports multiple disassemblies and reuses.
  2. Environmental Adaptability: The container body adopts a composite structure of galvanized steel sheets and fire-resistant and thermal-insulating materials, adapting to environmental temperatures ranging from -30℃ to 50℃. It has pre-embedded water and electricity pipeline interfaces inside, supporting plug-and-play installation.
  3. Economy: The overall cost is 40%-60% lower than that of steel structure buildings, with a 70% reduction in construction period. The annual maintenance cost in the later stage is less than 2% of the construction cost.

III. Typical Application Scenarios

  1. Construction Site Camps: The lower deck serves as an office area, while the upper deck serves as a living area, achieving functional zoning.
  2. Commercial Exhibitions: Large-span glass curtain wall modifications create transparent exhibition spaces.
  3. Emergency Relief: Rapid deployment into temporary medical stations or disaster relief command centers.
  4. Cultural and Tourism Projects: Creative combinations form characteristic homestay clusters.

IV. Advantages of Industrialized Production

Factory prefabrication enables quality control and cost optimization, with material utilization increased to over 95%, reducing material waste by approximately 20% compared to traditional on-site construction. Economies of scale reduce the production cost of a single container by 15%-25%, and modular design reduces on-site construction labor costs by more than 50%.
