Dog Portable Toilet

Quản trị 24 tháng 9, 2026

A dog portable toilet is a tool for pet dogs to relieve themselves at a fixed point. It is easy to clean and move, mainly serving people who are unable to walk their dogs daily due to busy work schedules or living conditions.

Structure and Functional Features

Dog portable toilets are usually used in conjunction with pet diapers. They guide dogs to excrete at a fixed location, simplifying the cleaning process. The main body is mostly made of high-strength resin material, with an inner layer designed to hold absorbent and deodorizing special diapers. Regular replacement of the diapers maintains a hygienic environment. According to their design, they can be divided into three categories:

  1. Flat-panel type: For example, the OYKTN small flat-panel anti-poop-stepping dog toilet. Its surface is treated with a special texture to disperse the pressure on the dog's paws and reduce direct contact with excrement. The slightly raised edges prevent urine from splashing out. The flat panel is detachable, and the material is highly stain-resistant, drying quickly after being rinsed with clean water.
  2. Grid type: The structure is mainly composed of grids, facilitating the leakage of excrement into the diaper below while maintaining ventilation and reducing odor accumulation.
  3. Fenced type: For example, the Zimu Yaju steel-frame dog-training toilet. It features a steel frame with a load-bearing capacity of over 50 kg. The anti-slip pad at the bottom enhances stability. The basin is made of thickened ABS plastic, which is bite-resistant and wear-resistant, suitable for large dogs or active dogs.

Usage Methods and Training Tips

In actual use, dogs need to be trained to adapt to the habit of relieving themselves at a fixed point:

  1. Area cleaning and odor guidance: The area where the portable toilet is placed daily should be thoroughly cleaned. First, wipe it with a mop, then wipe it again with a cloth containing disinfectant and toilet water (especially the corners), and finally spray a deodorizer to ensure that only the odor of feces and urine from the portable toilet remains in this area, using the dog's sense of smell to guide it to excrete at the fixed point.
  2. Gradual adaptation: In the early stages, place a diaper soaked with the dog's urine inside the toilet or guide the dog to move around near the toilet to strengthen its awareness of the excretion area.
  3. Positive reinforcement: When the dog actively uses the toilet, promptly give rewards (such as snacks or praise) to reinforce the behavior.

Applicable Scenarios and Advantages

Dog portable toilets are especially suitable for people living in high-rise buildings, apartments, or those who are too busy with work to walk their dogs daily. They can effectively solve the problem of dog excretion and avoid home hygiene issues caused by random excretion. Their portability makes it easy to adjust the position according to needs, and their ease of cleaning significantly reduces daily maintenance costs.
