Dianjiang County has made remarkable progress in house prefabrication (prefabricated construction) and has established multiple industrial parks while introducing policies to promote its widespread adoption.

Industrial Park Construction: On March 1, 2019, Dianjiang County signed a cooperation agreement with Chongqing Guorui Holdings Group to invest 5 billion yuan in building the first prefabricated construction industrial park in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, located in the Chengxi Cluster of the Dianjiang Industrial Park. This park has comprehensive functions, covering processing areas for building structural products such as mortise-and-tenon steel structures, enclosure products like exterior wall panels and interior partition walls, interior decoration products such as integrated bathrooms and kitchens, as well as supporting product components and electromechanical products like weak current systems. Additionally, it features a building technology exhibition center, an inspection and testing center, and a finished product storage area, forming a full industrial chain layout from production to exhibition, testing, and storage, providing solid support for the research and development, production, and application of prefabricated construction products.

Yujian Construction Industry Chongqing Dianjiang Construction Co., Ltd. also invested in building the city's first intelligent prefabricated construction industrial park in the Chengxi Cluster of the Dianjiang Industrial Park on May 29, 2019. The company's main business includes the manufacturing and installation of prefabricated construction products such as steel structure products and concrete prefabricated components, further enriching the types and production capacity of prefabricated construction products in Dianjiang County.

Policy Promotion: The Implementation Opinions on Vigorously Developing Prefabricated Construction issued by the Office of the Dianjiang County People's Government clearly states that developing prefabricated construction is a major transformation in construction methods. To promote its widespread adoption, Dianjiang County has set clear development goals: striving to achieve that the proportion of prefabricated construction area in the county accounts for more than 10% of the newly built construction area by 2020 and more than 30% by 2025. At the same time, the policy also stipulates the application scope of prefabricated construction, including affordable housing and construction projects invested in and led by the government, construction projects in the professional plan for the development of prefabricated construction, construction projects in noise-sensitive areas, as well as municipal facilities such as bridges, comprehensive pipe corridors, and pedestrian overpasses, all of which should adopt prefabricated construction or prefabricated construction methods. These policy measures provide strong policy support and a clear development direction for the development of house prefabrication (prefabricated construction) in Dianjiang County.
