Dangyang Mobile Environmental Sanitation Toilet
Dangyang City has taken numerous measures in the construction of mobile environmental sanitation toilets and related public toilets.

Mobile Toilet Procurement
Dangyang City has launched a public bidding project for the procurement of bus-style mobile toilets as part of its efforts to update sanitation facilities and equipment. The project has a budget and a maximum price limit of 1.2 million yuan each, with a contract performance period requiring completion of delivery, installation, commissioning, acceptance, and normal operation within 45 days from the date of contract signing. The bus-style mobile toilets are characterized by their flexible mobility, allowing them to be flexibly deployed according to the foot traffic and actual needs of different areas. They can quickly meet the toilet demands of temporary or specific areas, such as being promptly deployed for use during large-scale events, fairs, and other crowded venues, effectively alleviating toilet pressure.
Overall Quantity and Classification of Public Toilets
As of now, there are a total of 48 public toilets directly managed by the sanitation department and 50 socialized public toilets in the urban area of Dangyang City. According to the classification standards for public toilets, there are 27 Class I public toilets, 48 Class II public toilets, and 23 prefabricated public toilets. Different categories of public toilets vary in terms of facility equipment and building area. Class I public toilets generally have more complete facilities and a larger building area, providing citizens with a higher-quality toilet environment; Class II public toilets are next; while prefabricated public toilets have the advantages of fast construction speed and mobility, enabling rapid layout according to urban development needs.
Public Toilet Renovation
In recent years, Dangyang City has invested 3 million yuan in the renovation of 72 public toilets across the city. The renovation work is extensive, including the addition of 25 third toilets and disabled access passages, facilitating the use of special groups and reflecting the city's care for vulnerable populations. Additionally, 61 exhaust fans and emergency lights have been added, improving the ventilation and lighting conditions of the public toilets and enhancing their usage comfort. After the renovation, the appearance of urban public toilets has been refreshed both inside and out, and their functions have been further improved.
Construction of New-Type Public Toilets
Recently, two high-appearance public toilets designed and constructed according to Class I public toilet standards have been added beside Xinyuyang Middle School and Yulin Middle School in Dangyang City. These two public toilets adopt a multi-purpose model of "urban驿站 + smart public toilet," not only equipped with barrier-free ramps, baby changing tables, hand dryers, and other convenient facilities to meet the diverse needs of different groups of people but also equipped with electronic display screens and other intelligent devices, as well as a complete modern smart system. This system can monitor the foot traffic, temperature, humidity, ammonia levels, and usage status of the toilets in real-time, facilitating timely cleaning and maintenance by management personnel and improving the management efficiency and service quality of the public toilets.
