• For farmers who built water-flush toilets in 2018 but did not receive any subsidy, if they newly build toilets according to the standard for harmless sanitary household toilets, a subsidy of 2,000 yuan per toilet will be provided after passing the inspection.
• For farmers who built water-flush toilets in 2018 and received a subsidy of 1,200 yuan per toilet, no subsidy will be provided for the renovation or new construction of household toilets.

Application Process

The process is carried out in the manner of "subsidies as rewards" and "construction before subsidies". The specific procedures are as follows: Farmer application → Village organization verification and application → Township review and summary report → County (city) task assignment → Village organization construction → Township preliminary inspection → County (city)-level inspection → Village committee public announcement.

Toilet Renovation Requirements

Toilet renovation should meet the standards of "five haves" and "five nones". "Five haves" means having walls, a roof, a door, a toilet fixture, and a closed-type fecal storage tank; "five nones" means no maggots, no exposed feces, no foul odor, no leakage in the fecal storage tank, and harmless treatment of feces.
