Corrugated Container House Size
Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026
The common sizes of corrugated container houses are mainly based on standard container specifications and can be customized according to needs. The common size ranges are as follows:

I. Standard Container House Sizes The internationally used dry containers (DRY CONTAINER) are the main foundation for corrugated container houses, and their sizes are divided into the following types:
- 20-foot Standard Container External dimensions: Length 6.058 meters, Width 2.438 meters, Height 2.591 meters; Internal dimensions: Length 5.867 meters, Width 2.33 meters, Height 2.35 meters; The internal net space is approximately 32 cubic meters, suitable for single-person offices, dormitories, or small shops.
- 40-foot Standard Container External dimensions: Length 12.192 meters, Width 2.438 meters, Height 2.591 meters; Internal dimensions: Length 11.998 meters, Width 2.33 meters, Height 2.35 meters; The internal net space is approximately 67 cubic meters and can be divided into multi-functional spaces or multi-person dormitories.
- 40-foot High Cube Container External dimensions: Length 12.192 meters, Width 2.438 meters, Height 2.896 meters; Internal dimensions: Length 11.998 meters, Width 2.33 meters, Height 2.655 meters; The height is increased to 2.655 meters, suitable for exhibition halls or housing with height requirements.
II. Non-standard Custom Sizes In addition to standard specifications, corrugated container houses can be customized according to project needs. Common adjustment directions include:
- Length: Can be extended to 3 meters, 6 meters, 8 meters, 12 meters, etc., such as mobile houses measuring 3 meters × 6 meters or 3 meters × 8 meters.
- Width: Options include 2.5 meters, 2.55 meters, 3 meters, 4 meters, etc., to adapt to different site constraints.
- Height: Options include 2.6 meters, 2.7 meters, 2.8 meters, 2.9 meters, etc., to meet special height requirements.
- Combination Forms: By stacking vertically or horizontally, combined buildings of 40 feet, 60 feet, or even larger scales can be formed, such as a double-story structure formed by joining two 20-foot containers measuring 6 meters × 4.8 meters.
III. Special Type Sizes Some container houses for special purposes adopt non-standard designs, such as:
- Packing-box Container House: Internal dimensions are 5.88 meters (length) × 2.84 meters (width) × 2.5 meters (height), using galvanized steel structures and color-steel glass wool sandwich panels, suitable for rapidly deployed temporary housing.
- Open-top or Flat-rack Containers: The internal height of open-top containers ranges from 2.31 meters to 2.72 meters, and the internal height of flat-rack containers ranges from 1.96 meters to 2.15 meters, suitable for scenarios requiring top openings or special loading.
