Container Warehouse House Design Drawing Translation

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, there is no directly complete design drawing for container warehouse houses, but design ideas and key points can be obtained through relevant design cases.

Itajaí Urban Port Project in Brazil

  • Overall Layout: This project features two single-warehouse volumes, each utilizing two stacked containers. This layout expands space vertically, increasing the usable area of the warehouse. At the same time, the two volumes are separated by opening skylights in the middle, and vertical circulation is provided to facilitate the movement of personnel between different floors.
  • Distinctive Design: A rooftop garden is set up on top of the containers, which not only beautifies the environment but also provides some thermal insulation, reducing the indoor temperature. On the second floor, a cantilevered gray space is formed at the entrance. The gray space serves as a transition and buffer, adding a sense of hierarchy and spatial interest to the building. It also provides a semi-outdoor activity space that shields people from wind and rain.

San José Project in Costa Rica

  • Floor Plan Layout: Composed of two joined containers, the floor plan opens up the living room, dining room, and kitchen to create a spacious public activity area, enhancing the sense of openness and interaction in the space. It also includes two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub, meeting the basic functional requirements for living.
  • Foundation and Structure: Pile foundations are used at the construction site, with containers mounted on the piles without touching the ground. This design prevents direct contact between the containers and the ground, reducing erosion from ground moisture and extending their service life.
  • Lighting and Insulation: Large floor-to-ceiling windows and rooftop skylights ensure ample natural lighting indoors, reducing the use of artificial lighting and allowing better integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. The walls, roof, and floor, except for the glass parts, are well-insulated internally, effectively improving the building's thermal insulation performance and reducing energy consumption.
  • Energy Utilization: A solar photovoltaic power generation system is installed on the roof, utilizing solar energy, a renewable resource, to provide electricity for the building. This aligns with the concept of sustainable development and reduces dependence on traditional energy sources.
