Container-Style Mobile House

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Container-style mobile houses are movable office or living units transformed from standard containers, featuring robust structures, convenient transportation, and strong modular expandability. They are widely used in construction sites, emergency response, cultural tourism, commerce, and other scenarios.

I. Core Structures and Types

Container-style mobile houses are based on standard containers (20-foot and 40-foot) and are structurally modified to form independent functional spaces. They mainly fall into the following types:

  • Container-type office houses: Single or multiple containers are joined together, suitable for project departments, construction site command centers, etc. They have strong structural stability and convenient transportation.
  • Foldable office houses: With a foldable design, their volume during transportation is compressed to 1/5 to 1/4 of the expanded state. A single truck can carry 15-20 sets, reducing storage costs by 60%-80%. They are suitable for emergency support and short-term turnover scenarios.
  • Expandable office houses: Side or end expansion modules are added to the containers, increasing the usable area by 30%-50% to meet the space requirements for long-term on-site office work.
  • Customized creative houses: Incorporating elements such as glass curtain walls and wood-grain finishes, they are used for brand displays, cultural and creative parks, etc., balancing functionality and visual expression.

II. Performance Advantages

  • Structural stability: The all-steel structural frame has a wind resistance rating of up to Level 12 and an earthquake resistance rating of Level 8. Under extreme working conditions, the frame deformation rate is less than 0.3%, far superior to non-standard products (with a deformation rate exceeding 1.2%).
  • Environmental protection and recycling: They support multiple disassembly and reassembly operations, with an average of more than 8 disassembly and reassembly times. The amount of construction waste generated is 90% less than that of traditional buildings, significantly improving resource utilization.
  • Rapid deployment: A foldable house can be expanded and fixed by a single person in 5 minutes, and a modular house can be installed by 4 employees in half a day, meeting the needs of urgent projects.

III. Application Scenarios

  • Engineering camps: Used as project departments and worker dormitories, adapting to the need for frequent relocation.
  • Emergency support: Quickly set up temporary command centers or shelters after earthquakes, typhoons, and other disasters.
  • Cultural tourism and commerce: Transformed into homestays, cafes, pop-up stores, etc., supporting customized exterior designs.
  • Cross-border projects: They comply with international transportation standards and meet the compliance requirements of overseas projects.
