Common container-sized mobile houses mainly use 20-foot and 40-foot standard containers, and can also be customized according to requirements. The following introduces them from three aspects: standard sizes, customized non-standard sizes, and sizes of special types of containers.

I. Standard Sizes

The most common household container sizes are 20 and 40 feet in length, with a standard height of 8 feet 6 inches. The specific sizes are as follows:

• 20-foot standard container (20GP): The external dimensions are 6058×2438×2591mm, and the internal dimensions are 5867×2330×2350mm. It is commonly used for single-person offices, dormitories, shops, etc.
• 40-foot standard container (40GP): The external dimensions are 12192×2438×2591mm, and the internal dimensions are 11998×2330×2350mm. It can be used to divide multi-functional spaces, multi-person dormitories, etc.
• 40-foot high cube container (40HQ): The external dimensions are 12192×2438×2896mm, and the internal dimensions are 11998×2330×2655mm. It is suitable for exhibition halls, housing, etc. that have requirements for floor height.

II. Customized Non-standard Sizes

In addition to standard sizes, non-standard customization can also be carried out according to requirements, with flexible adjustments in length, width, and height. For example, widths of 2.5m, 2.55m, 3m, 4m, etc. can be selected, and heights of 2.6m, 2.7m, 2.8m, 2.9m, etc. can be selected. Common customized non-standard sizes include 3m×6m, 3m×8m, 3m×12m, etc. Special door and window positions, partitions, appearance, and interior decoration can also be customized as required.

III. Sizes of Special Types of Containers

Some expandable container houses have flexible sizes. For example, the combined size is 3×6×3m (width × length × height), and the expanded size is 5.5×6×3m (width × length × height). The indoor area can be expanded from 18 square meters to 33 square meters, meeting the needs of different groups of people.
