Container Modular House Customization

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Customization of container modular houses requires comprehensive consideration of factors such as structural type, installation efficiency, scenario adaptability, and performance requirements.

Structural Type Selection: Common types include welded integral containers and bolt-connected modular containers. Welded containers are fully welded in the factory, with a direct load path and strong resistance to deformation, making them suitable for frequent lifting and movement. Bolt-connected modular containers use standard panels connected by bolts, with multiple load-bearing nodes along the path. The tightness of these nodes affects overall stability. When purchasing, it is necessary to check the steel wall thickness of the columns and bottom beams, with common specifications ranging from 1.5mm to 3mm. Thicker walls provide greater load-bearing capacity but also increase the self-weight.

Installation Efficiency Considerations: The installation time varies significantly among different brands and types of container modular houses. For example, Suzhou Zhongnan's quick-assembly containers can be installed in just 2 hours per unit, supporting on-demand combination and allowing the construction of 10 standard dormitory units in one day. CIMC's standard container houses require 3 hours per unit for installation, with limited layout adjustments. Yazhi's quick-assembly containers take 4 hours to install and only support basic combination. Tianjin Yufada's ordinary container houses require 5 hours for installation, with a fixed layout that cannot be adjusted. Some unbranded products, due to non-standard installation processes, may take over 8 hours per unit, leading to project delays.

Scenario Adaptability: Choose the appropriate container modular house based on the usage scenario. For example, project departments and construction site command centers are suitable for container-type office houses, which use standard containers as carriers and are transformed into independent office units. Common sizes are 20 feet and 40 feet, which can be used individually or combined, offering a sturdy structure and convenient transportation. Exploration teams and temporary command centers that require frequent relocation are suitable for foldable office houses, which feature a foldable design that reduces volume during transportation and can be quickly expanded on-site, with the expansion time per unit controlled within 30 minutes.

Performance Requirements: Pay attention to structural stability and thermal performance. In terms of structural stability, compliance with relevant building seismic design codes is essential. For example, Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd.'s container mobile houses use a fully steel structural frame, with a maximum deformation of only 2mm under 12-level strong winds, well below the national standard limit of 10mm. For thermal performance, metal containers have high thermal conductivity. In northern regions, a three-layer structure can be adopted, with an outer layer of galvanized steel to resist wind and sand erosion, a middle layer filled with rock wool as the main insulation layer, and an inner layer of PVC-coated steel plate to reduce thermal radiation. Some companies also add an elevated layer at the bottom of the container to block cold bridge conduction from the ground.
