Images of Container-Modified Houses

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Currently, we cannot directly provide images of container-modified houses, but we can describe their exterior and interior design features based on actual cases.

I. Exterior Features

The exterior of container-modified houses typically retains the industrial feel of the original containers, with dark blue, gray, or white as the primary color schemes. Some cases enhance aesthetics by spraying other colors or adding decorative elements. For example, in one case, the container surface adopts a dark blue base tone, paired with a wooden deck and black metal fence, creating a contrasting beauty between machinery and nature. Some designs incorporate additional doors, windows, or decks. For instance, a 15㎡ case adds a door in the middle and connects it to a deck, enhancing natural light and outdoor interaction, in addition to having doors at the front and back of the container. Roof designs are also often upgraded, such as using lifting rods to connect the four corners to improve indoor lighting and ventilation, or installing solar panels to address electricity needs.

II. Interior Design

  1. Spatial Layout: Although the interior space of containers is limited, modular design enables functional zoning. For example, one case divides an 18㎡ container into a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The living room uses a sofa bed for both sleeping and leisure, the kitchen adopts a linear design to save space, and the bathroom enhances aesthetics with rounded corners.
  2. Furniture Design: Furniture often features foldable or customized designs to enhance flexibility. For example, in one case, the bedroom bed can be folded, serving as a sofa during the day and unfolding into a double bed at night. The cabinets combine open and closed designs to meet storage needs while avoiding visual monotony.
  3. Decoration Style: Styles vary but mainly focus on simplicity and nature. For example, a container home in the forest uses natural wood furniture and white decor to create a fresh and cozy atmosphere. Another case uses black special materials to decorate around the fireplace, forming a practical design for fire prevention and heat resistance.

III. Functional Expansion

Container houses can expand their space by combining multiple containers. For example, one case uses two 18㎡ containers side by side to form a rectangular structure, with the living room and kitchen on the left and the bedroom and bathroom on the right, connected by a small hallway in the middle. Another mountain resort hotel is composed of six containers, built on the mountainside according to the terrain. The two blocks naturally form a courtyard in the middle, and the rooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows to enhance natural light.
