Container Mobile House Wallpaper

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

When applying wallpaper to container mobile houses, it is necessary to select appropriate materials based on the wall material and carry out standardized construction, while paying attention to fire safety and daily maintenance.

Wall Material and Wallpaper Compatibility

Container mobile houses have a variety of wall materials, commonly including color-coated steel sheets, rock wool panels, or glass curtain walls. If the wall is made of color-coated steel sheets, which have a smooth surface and may have a metallic cold feel, it is necessary to choose wallpaper with strong adhesion and good weather resistance, such as PVC wallpaper or self-adhesive wallpaper with a backing adhesive, to prevent the wallpaper from falling off due to temperature changes. If the wall is made of rock wool panels, it is necessary to first confirm whether the surface has been treated for moisture resistance. If not, a waterproof coating should be applied first, and then breathable non-woven wallpaper should be selected to prevent mold growth after the rock wool absorbs moisture. For glass curtain walls, it is necessary to avoid using ordinary wallpaper. Electrostatically adsorbed glass films or frosted films can be used instead, which not only protect privacy but also facilitate cleaning.

Construction Specifications and Precautions

Before construction, the wall surface should be thoroughly cleaned to remove oil stains, dust, or rust, ensuring that the wall is dry and flat. If there are uneven areas or seams on the wall, they should be repaired with putty and sanded smooth first to prevent the wallpaper from bubbling or cracking. When pasting, it is recommended to start from the top and use a scraper to expel air from the inside out to prevent air bubbles. If glue-based wallpaper is used, environmentally friendly glue should be selected to avoid the release of harmful substances such as formaldehyde, and the area should be ventilated for at least 72 hours after construction.

Fire Safety and Daily Maintenance

The wall materials of container mobile houses (such as color-coated steel sheets) may pose fire hazards, so it is necessary to choose flame-retardant wallpaper with a B1 rating or higher to reduce the risk of fire. During daily use, avoid scratching the wallpaper with sharp objects and regularly wipe off dust with a dry cloth. If the wallpaper shows signs of curling or mold growth, it should be repaired or replaced promptly to prevent the problem from worsening. If the house is located in a humid area, a moisture-proof film can be added between the wallpaper and the wall to extend its service life.
