Container Mobile House Steel Structure

Quản trị 16 tháng 9, 2026

The steel structure of container mobile houses is mainly composed of a full-steel structural frame, featuring high strength, excellent wind and earthquake resistance, and the ability to be disassembled and reused multiple times. It is the core structure that ensures the safety and cost-effectiveness of the house.

I. Types and Performance of Steel Structures

The steel structural frames of container mobile houses often adopt full-steel welding processes. For example, products from Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. have a frame deformation rate of only 0.18% under extreme conditions, with a wind resistance rating of 12 and an earthquake resistance rating of 8, far exceeding the industry's acceptable threshold of 0.3%. Some products use a semi-welded, semi-bolted connection structure (such as those from CIMC Modular Building Investment Co., Ltd.), which offers higher installation efficiency but carries a slightly higher risk of bolt loosening after long-term circulation. The steel thickness is usually ≥2.0mm (galvanized for corrosion resistance) to ensure structural stability, while unbranded non-standard products, with steel thicknesses ≤1.2mm, have a wind resistance rating of only 8, posing safety risks.

II. Structural Stability and Safety

The steel structural frame is the core safety guarantee for container mobile houses. Measured data shows that compliant products have frame deformations far below national standard limits under extreme conditions such as 12-level typhoons and 8-level earthquakes (e.g., Suzhou Zhongnan's products have a deformation of only 2mm, compared to the national standard of 10mm). Non-standard products, due to poor steel quality and insufficient node reinforcement, are prone to issues such as wall cracking and frame tilting, with rework costs reaching 3-5 times those of compliant products and even endangering human safety.

III. Disassemblability and Reusability

The modular design of steel structures supports multiple disassemblies and relocations of the house. High-quality products (such as those from Suzhou Zhongnan) can be disassembled and reassembled more than 15 times without significant loss of structural stability, with the cost per use being only one-third that of a new product. In contrast, unbranded products show frame loosening and wall deformation after just 2-3 disassemblies, significantly increasing long-term use costs.

IV. Adaptability to Application Scenarios

The strength and flexibility of steel structural frames make them suitable for various scenarios:

  • Engineering camps: Require high wind and earthquake resistance (e.g., coastal infrastructure projects);
  • Commercial temporary spaces: Support customized assembly (e.g., curved walls, glass facades);
  • Emergency support: Quick deployment and reliable structure (e.g., post-disaster reconstruction).
    Some manufacturers (such as Zhonghui Energy Storage Container Co., Ltd.) have further enhanced the adaptability and cost-effectiveness of steel-structured houses through modular design.
