Container Mobile House Processing
Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026
Container mobile houses are movable, modular buildings transformed from standard containers, featuring rapid deployment, sturdy structures, and low costs. They are widely used in temporary offices, residences, commercial spaces, and special scenarios.

1. Structural Types and Modification Methods Container mobile houses are based on standard freight containers and achieve functional expansion through structural modifications. Common types include:
- Container-style office houses: These directly use 20-foot or 40-foot standard containers, creating independent office units through internal partitions and window/door modifications, suitable for construction site command centers and other scenarios.
- Expandable office houses: These add foldable expansion modules to the sides or ends of containers, increasing usable area by 30%-50% when expanded, meeting the space needs of long-term on-site offices.
- Foldable and assembled houses: Foldable houses use compressible structures, reducing volume during transportation and unfolding within 30 minutes upon arrival. Assembled houses are modularly pieced together with light steel frames and color-coated steel sheets, allowing flexible expansion based on occupancy, commonly seen in temporary park offices.
2. Core Advantages and Technical Characteristics
- Rapid deployment and mobility: Modular design supports foundation-free construction, enabling immediate use after power and water connection. They can be hoisted or disassembled for transportation as a whole, adapting to frequent relocation needs.
- Structural safety and durability: High-strength steel frames provide strong resistance to deformation, paired with galvanized steel and waterproofing techniques, ensuring a service life of over 20 years, along with wind, earthquake, and fire resistance.
- Cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness: Construction costs are lower than traditional buildings, and they can be recycled. Modifying second-hand containers further reduces costs. Internal air insulation design and eco-friendly materials achieve sound and thermal insulation with low carbon emissions.
3. Application Scenarios and Customized Services Container mobile houses have penetrated multiple fields:
- Temporary facilities: Construction site dormitories, field operation command centers, and earthquake relief temporary housing.
- Commercial spaces: Container shops, cafes, and exhibition halls, enhanced aesthetically through exterior painting and design.
- Special needs: Solar panels can be installed for off-grid power supply, or modules like bathrooms and kitchens can be configured to meet living requirements.
4. Selection and Installation Considerations
- Structural type selection: Welded integral containers are suitable for frequent hoisting, while bolt-connected assembled containers require checking the wall thickness of columns and bottom beams (recommended 1.5mm to 3mm).
- Technical control: Installation should consider load transfer paths, ensuring roof loads are evenly distributed to bottom beams through side wall columns, along with proper ground leveling and waterproofing.
