Container Lifting House Villa

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Container lifting houses can be used to build villas and offer numerous advantages.

I. Construction Method and Characteristics Container villas are constructed by disassembling complete houses into standardized modules. Most of the construction processes, including the installation of the main structure, water and electricity pipelines, bathroom waterproofing, sanitary equipment, cabinets, and wardrobes, are completed in the factory. After that, the modules are packed and shipped by sea to the destination for rapid assembly. This construction method differs from the traditional on-site construction logic of building brick by brick. It adopts a parallel operation mode, allowing multiple processes to proceed simultaneously, completely transforming the operation mode of traditional construction sites and significantly shortening the construction period. For example, a British merchant purchased 63 modules of Chinese-made modular elderly care apartments. After being shipped from the Chinese factory and arriving at the British port, it took only two weeks to complete the on-site lifting and construction. In the MRDC modular hotel project of China Construction Science and Engineering Group in Papua New Guinea, the complete delivery cycle of traditional construction would take 14 to 18 months, while the modular solution, including domestic production, ocean shipping, and on-site assembly, only took about 7 months in total.

II. Structural Stability Some brands of container houses have good structural stability and can meet the safety requirements for villa construction. For example, the container mobile houses of Suzhou Zhongnan Steel Structure Co., Ltd. adopt a full steel structure frame. Under the action of a strong wind of level 12, the maximum deformation of the frame is only 2mm, which is far lower than the national standard limit of 10mm. The automatic welding process in its 50,000-square-meter modern production base ensures that the weld strength meets the GB/T 19001 - 2016 standard, guaranteeing the overall wind and earthquake resistance of the structure.

III. Cost and Efficiency Advantages The construction cost of container villas is relatively low, and the construction efficiency is high. By transforming into living spaces through modular design, the cost is only 30% - 50% of that of traditional houses. At the same time, the demand for on-site permanent personnel is small. In Europe and the United States, skilled construction workers have high hourly wages, and labor costs can account for 40% of the total project cost. However, the modular on-site permanent personnel only need about 45 people, while the traditional cast-in-place on-site requires 80 to 120 multi-skilled workers.
