1. Standard Single and Double Doors
The most commonly used door types for container houses are single and double doors. The standard width of a single door is 800 mm, with a height of 2000 mm, suitable for daily personnel access. Double doors have a width of 1600 mm (i.e., a combination of two 800 mm doors), with the same height of 2000 mm, facilitating the movement of large items or equipment. These dimensions are designed to balance safety and practicality, widely used in construction site dormitories, office buildings, and storage-type container houses.

2. International Standard Container Door Sizes
For houses converted from 20-foot dry cargo containers, the inner net opening dimensions of the front container door are 2168 mm wide (including the frame) and 2198 mm high. This size is an international standard aimed at meeting the needs of forklift passage and cargo loading and unloading efficiency, while also considering structural load-bearing, lifting clearances, and sealing edge factors. If the container house is directly converted from a maritime container, its door frame dimensions usually adhere to this standard.

3. Customized and Non-Standard Doors
According to actual needs, the dimensions of container house doors can be flexibly adjusted. For example, certain projects may require taller or wider doors to accommodate special purposes (such as equipment maintenance, large furniture movement, etc.). In such cases, the door width can exceed standard limits through non-standard customization. Additionally, industrial-grade special containers (such as equipment containers produced by Tuoweite) may be equipped with multiple door sets, with the width of each single door determined by the container length and equipment layout. For example, a 15-meter multi-door equipment container may have multiple door sets distributed along its side, with each door width designed according to functional requirements.

4. Adaptation Solutions for Narrow Door Opening Renovation Scenarios
For renovation projects with limited space (such as old house bathrooms, temporary partitions), if the door opening is close to the standard dimensions of a container door (e.g., 2180 mm high and 2150 mm wide), flexible solutions such as PVC folding doors can be adopted. These doors can expand to a maximum width of 2180 mm and occupy only 12 cm in thickness when folded, eliminating the need for wall demolition and suitable for narrow door opening scenarios.
