Container House Wall Panel

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

Container house wall panels are typically made of color-coated steel sandwich panels or special composite materials, featuring lightweight, high strength, fire resistance, water resistance, and thermal insulation. During installation, they need to be positioned and spliced according to design drawings, ensuring airtightness and structural stability.

1. Wall Panel Materials and Characteristics

The core material of container wall panels is often color-coated steel sandwich panels, composed of two layers of color-coated steel sheets with an intermediate layer of thermal insulation core material (such as EPS polystyrene, PU polyurethane, or rock wool).

  • EPS Color-Coated Steel Sandwich Panels: Low cost, moderate thermal insulation performance, commonly used in ordinary environments;
  • PU Color-Coated Steel Sandwich Panels: Superior thermal insulation performance, suitable for cold regions;
  • Rock Wool Sandwich Panels: High fire resistance rating, heat-resistant, often used in scenarios with strict fire safety requirements (such as medical containers).
    Additionally, some high-end products adopt a fiberglass-reinforced plastic + steel frame structure to further enhance corrosion resistance and structural strength.

2. Installation Process Highlights

  1. Positioning and Splicing
    Determine the position of the wall panels according to the design drawings, with flat edges facing inward and recessed edges facing outward. Fix the splicing points with steel strip clips to ensure aligned panel seams without misalignment.
  2. Corner Treatment
    Before installing partition panels, use pull rivets to fix corner aluminum on one side to the structural frame, then cut the corner aluminum to size and complete the installation to enhance corner stability.
  3. Door and Window Installation
    Fix windows to the window frames with self-drilling screws, and leave gaps in door frames for adjustment with wedges to ensure precise alignment between the door lock and lock hole, preventing jamming during opening and closing.
  4. Sealing and Waterproofing
    Apply sealant at splicing points and around doors and windows to prevent rainwater infiltration; install waterproof membranes at the bottom of wall panels where they contact the ground to enhance overall waterproofing performance.

3. Performance Optimization Directions

  • Thermal Insulation Upgrade: Increase the thickness of the core material or select materials with lower thermal conductivity (such as VIP vacuum insulation panels);
  • Fire Resistance Enhancement: Use Class A fire-resistant rock wool core material and apply fire-resistant coatings;
  • Lightweight Design: Reduce the self-weight of wall panels by optimizing the steel frame structure or selecting aluminum alloy frames, facilitating transportation and lifting.
