Triangular Tube for Container Houses

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

Triangular tubes in container houses are mainly used in the construction of steel structure modules, serving as support structures or connecting components, and their transportation requires adherence to specific operational guidelines.

The Core Role of Triangular Tubes in Container Houses

As a triangular prism-shaped hollow tube, the structural characteristics of triangular tubes determine their crucial position in container houses. The natural support structure formed by the three edges enhances their compressive strength by 40% compared to round tubes, making them an ideal choice for steel structure modules. For example, in a case of assembled triangular-house steel structures shipped abroad, the design team modularly divided the ground, walls, and other parts according to the dimensions of the container. Triangular tubes, as support structures or connecting components, were welded and assembled to form a stable framework. The characteristic of their flat contact surfaces being easier to weld further simplifies the modular construction process and ensures the overall stability of the structure.

Operational Guidelines for Transporting Triangular Tubes to Construction Sites

If triangular tubes need to be loaded into containers and transported to house construction sites, the following steps must be strictly followed:

  1. Preparation: Accurately measure the length, diameter, and other dimensional parameters of the triangular tubes, while checking the internal dimensions of the container to ensure space compatibility. Classify and mark the triangular tubes according to their material, length, and other characteristics to avoid damage from mixed loading. Inspect the integrity of the container, focusing on issues such as body deformation and sealing. Prepare protective materials such as wooden strips, foam boards, and ropes for fixation and cushioning.
  2. Loading Steps: Lay anti-slip materials (such as rubber mats) at the bottom of the container to prevent the triangular tubes from sliding during transportation. Choose the placement method according to the size of the triangular tubes: short tubes can be placed diagonally to save space, while long tubes need to be loaded in sections and ensure that each section does not exceed the height limit of the container. Use ropes, wooden strips, or special fixing devices (such as angle irons) to secure the triangular tubes to the inner walls or supports of the container to prevent movement. If loading in multiple layers, lay partitions (such as wooden boards) between each layer and ensure that the partitions and triangular tubes are fixed simultaneously using bolts or buckles.
  3. Handling Special Cases: For extra-long triangular tubes, use open-top containers or side-opening containers and install support frames to distribute pressure. Overweight triangular tubes should be loaded separately to avoid local overloading of the container. Fragile triangular tubes (such as surface-galvanized tubes) should have their edges wrapped with foam boards and be marked with 'Fragile' on the outside. Regularly check the fixation status during transportation.
