Container House Transportation Details

Quản trị 15 tháng 9, 2026

The transportation details of container houses mainly include transportation methods, transportation costs, loading and securing, and transportation state conversion, among others.

Transportation Methods: Container houses are typically transported by road or sea. Road transportation is suitable for domestic short-distance or medium-short-distance projects, using flatbed trailers or specialized transport vehicles. Sea transportation, on the other hand, is suitable for international projects or long-distance cross-regional transportation, typically using large shipping containers for loading.

Transportation Costs: Transportation costs are one of the core considerations for the long-term use of container houses. Traditional containers are bulky, resulting in high transportation costs, especially for cross-regional or international transportation. To reduce transportation costs, some manufacturers adopt foldable designs, allowing the container bodies to be compressed in volume during transportation, thereby reducing the number of transport vehicles or containers used and saving on freight. For example, certain foldable packing boxes can be compressed to one-fifth of their original volume during transportation, enabling one vehicle to carry five times the cargo it could previously, directly saving over 80% in transportation costs.

Loading and Securing: During transportation, container houses need to be properly loaded and secured to prevent movement or damage. This typically requires the use of professional loading equipment and securing devices to ensure the stability of the container bodies during transportation.

Transportation State Conversion: For foldable and expandable modular building products, such as double-wing expansion boxes, their transportation state can be converted to their actual use state. During transportation, the side wings can be folded in to reduce the overall transportation space; upon arrival at the project site, the side structures can be expanded to create a larger indoor usable area. This structural form is more conducive to international sea transportation and rapid deployment at the project site.
