Container House Storage Layout Design

Quản trị 17 tháng 9, 2026

The storage layout design of container houses can be planned with reference to the following cases:

15㎡ Forest Container Tiny Home This case enhances space utilization through composite storage design. The living room area adopts a combination of closed and open storage modes, with a shaped storage area set on the background wall to meet storage needs while also serving as decoration. The corners feature rounded designs to soften the rigid structure of the container and increase space fluidity. In the bedroom area, traditional bedside tables are replaced with symmetrical open storage shelves, facilitating the placement of frequently used items such as alarms and books, and reducing space occupation. On the inner side of the container door, wooden veneer shelves are added to utilize vertical space for hanging clothes, avoiding occupation of floor or bed surface areas, suitable for functional extension in small spaces.

16.6㎡ American Prairie Container Cottage This case achieves efficient space utilization through hidden and multifunctional designs. On the left side of the entrance area, a custom sofa has a hidden wall bed behind it. When the wall bed is folded up during the day, the space beneath it can be used to store shoes, realizing a "living-bedroom integrated" function. On the right side, two sets of brown small cabinets are installed, serving both as structural load-bearing components and for storing spare shoes. The kitchen area adopts an embedded design, with a small refrigerator embedded in the floor cabinet and a dedicated storage area in the lower right corner of the cabinets for storing pots and an induction cooker, keeping the countertop tidy. The dining area utilizes the space beneath the table to hang spare hangers, trash cans, and laundry baskets, reducing floor occupation through vertical stratification, suitable for functional integration in narrow spaces.

Guangzhou Container Renovation Project This case optimizes storage layout through soft partitions and area division. Using curtains as simple partitions, the bedroom and leisure area are flexibly divided, ensuring space permeability while concentrating daily items (such as clothes and miscellaneous items) in the area at the foot of the bed to form a temporary storage area. This design is suitable for scenarios with low privacy needs and a pursuit of flexibility, allowing quick adjustment of space functions by moving the curtains.

Core Design Principles:

  • Vertical Space Utilization: Enhance space utilization through wall beds, shelves, hanging systems, etc.;
  • Functional Integration: Combine storage with structures (such as load-bearing cabinets) and furniture (such as sofas) to reduce redundant designs;
  • Flexible Area Division: Use soft partitions or temporary storage areas according to usage needs to adapt to dynamic changes in small spaces. In actual design, details should be adjusted according to the size, orientation, and usage habits of the container, such as adding reflective materials to improve lighting and choosing lightweight furniture to reduce structural load.
